Joss Whedon's direction for Avengers 2 inspired by The Winter Soldier? During the Empire magazine's film podcast, the Russo brothers reveal their work may have inspired Joss to make some changes for the anticipated sequel. Spoilers for Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

"[Joss Whedon] was very complimentary after he saw the movie and very supportive. I think he loved the 2.35 aspect ratio and I think they're gonna use that now on Avengers 2" - About 5 minutes into the show.

Eh, 2.35 aspect ratio isn't quite the same as "make some changes." I mean, yes, it's a change but it doesn't look like he decided to make any more significant changes.

You might want to put a spoiler tag on this post. It's pretty much all Winter Soldier spoilers.
There's no spoilers on the page though, so that's ok. And the podcast is marked "spoiler".
I hope the Russo brothers agreeing to direct Cap 3 means we will get to see some people from Community in the Marvel verse.

Also, it makes me happy that the Arrested Development directors are working with Joss Whedon. Mitch Hurwitz met Joss Whedon when Hurwitz was working with Joss' father Tom when he was working for Golden Girls. So much connection.
@Tausif: Did you miss Danny Pudi in Cap2 or do you mean MORE Community people?
Well, Duh??? Joss should work with 2.35:1 because it makes movies appear cinematic.
