(SPOILER) Preview clip from next week's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. episode. It's 1x19 "The Only Light in the Darkness".

Ward's so nervous, oh geez. Quite exciting. I love Patton's character, and I grow fonder of him with every moment of screentime.
I'm enjoying his lanyard-denying ways and the creepily empty secret base. Can't help but think he's not what he seems. All those tables and chairs and it's just him? And now a giant lie detecting machine. Something's up.
@Sunfire: I've understood this base to be some sort of refuge and not much more. But of course that could be totally wrong. I just don't feel like everyone potentially being evil is very interesting. Though it's fun to share the mistrust and confusion of the characters right now while we watch along as an audience.
He could still be Shield and be a psychopath. Maybe Fury hid Koenig there for a reason and he had to send Coulson et al there cause it was the last option?
I'm ok with everyone being potentially evil within hours of a major organization-wide betrayal. Yes, it will become tedious if it goes on too long. I don't want to watch a season of "Who's HYDRA?" either. But for right now, everyone should still be feeling a lot of mistrust. I expect the show to shift out of that emotional space in the future but it's not a bad place to inhabit for a little while. They do have a major traitor still in their midst, after all.
Ooh, this looks like it could be fun.

They just looove to drop that Romanov name, don't they? What about Barton? Doesn't he get any love?
From that clip, I find that I'm looking forward to this episode probably more than any since the pilot!
Last episode, I noticed there were fresh bananas on the counter in the secret, snowed-in, Canadian base occupied by only one person. Curiouser and curiouser. Can't wait for Tuesday night!
