Ok, sorry if this is off topic but the picture of Eve reminded me of something I wanted to ask My husband and I just re-watched “Forgiving” from Season 3 last night, the one where Angel and Lilah go up to the white room for the first time and speak with the conduit. The little girl who played the conduit reminded us so much of Eve that it was kind of eerie. She really resembled her and the inflection in her voice was almost identical. Now I haven’t read any spoilers regarding Eve and I don’t know if anyone else got the same impression but I just wanted to throw it out there and see if anyone else knows what I’m talking about.

Also: Angel, back in his gorgeous, all-black glory! It's the little things that matter as we near the end, and this distinctive (and hot!) clothing style is a touchstone back to the character's beginning. I was starting to wonder if we were *ever* going to see Angel out of those damn uncomfortable-looking formal suits. Thank Joss a'mighty, my prayers be answered!

Oh, the nostalgia. *Sniff* I've got something in my eye...

Karen: I've thought the exact same thing about the Little Girl in the White Room (Mes-ke-tet, I think?) and Eve. They do have suspiciously similar vocal mannerisms and body language. We know Mes-ke-tet wasn't really a little girl; something Gunn said (or almost said) to Angel in LOTP makes me think something similar about Eve. You're not alone. Hopefully this is something that will be addressed before the series is over.

Or not. It is ME, after all. If they answer *all* our questions, what the hell are we going to talk about from now on? ;)

Interesting... What did Gunn say/almost say to Angel in LOTP?

I went back a read a few transcripts and in “Forgiving” the little girl compliments Lilah on her nails saying, “Your fingernails are pretty. I love red.” Then in the “Conviction” transcript when Angel walks in to find Eve waiting for him, they make a point of Eve being a “young woman in a red suit sitting on the edge of Angel’s desk.” Maybe I’m looking into it a bit but they usually don’t go into details as to what the characters are wearing. Then, of course, there was little exchange between Wesley and Eve when she reveals herself as the liaison to the Senior Partners,

WESLEY: Still... a pretty powerful position for a young woman.
EVE: How exactly can you be sure I'm either of those things?

And in “Habeas Corpses” when asked what the white room was Angel said “there’s a little girl
there… or something old and evil that likes to pretend she’s a little girl”

I can't believe I just made the connection, now I'm all kinds of interested and the show's ending soon and like you said, Wiseblood, who knows if ME will address it! Ack!

Hey. Watch it, pal.

Eve cut him off, and I got the idea he suspected something about her, or somehow knew something about her, that the other didn't (which he has so far kept to himself).

Re: AB -- does anyone else love that Easter egg of him singing "Hero of Canton" on the FF DVD? I laughed, I cried, I was proud I have a dorky woven hat that's very similar in design. He looks much better in his than I do in mine, however...
