A spoiler free review of the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. finale.
"This is, by far, the most well put together episode of the series to date." Added: MTV also has a review up which we would describe as very spoiler light. It has a lot more detail so if you want to stay entirely uninformed, try the main link instead.

The first one was with the renovation, because I've always thought the intention was not to do a second season (regardless the ratings). I couldn't imagine a full season doing what, just chasing Hydra? This season big payoff came after Captain America, so I assumed next one's couldn't come before Avengers 2.
And this leads to my second one. I thought they wouldn't do a second season because the show was irrelevant to the movies and they had their hands tied and cannot do anything big because Marvel won't allow it to happen off screen (talking only about the MCU movies). Now I guess I was wrong with this one two, and I'm happy to be wrong and can't wait to see it!

I certainly hope this message gets out and that season 2 sees better ratings.

The events occurring in SHIELD will lead directly to Avengers AoU. They can spend the fall chasing Baron Strucker or "miracle" people and advertise that to reallyreally "get" everything out of your AoU experience you'll need to have been watching the Marvel show on the T&V. I think if you could promise ABC a 2.0 next season they'd lock that deal down now -

Do you think they would ever introduce one of the final infinity "stone" on the show first? What are the odds the Berserker Staff is one of them?
