2014 Geek-A-Long - a mystery blanket knit-along. This week, Buffy the Vampire Slayer features as a square in the blanket.

That's awesome!
Needs more chevrons.

Open, or engaged, doesn't matter.

Nice little TARDIS square, and of course the SHS one is awesome. TMNT? They sure do seem to be popular these days. Other than Supes, Wonder Woman & SHIELD I don't recognize any of the other ones. Oh...wait. Baker Street Irregulars? Is that the 221B w/the smiley face?
Well, you missed the Jedi logo, apeture science (Portal), the Gryphandor logo, and of course pi, periodic table, and caffeine molecule aren't really a reference to an entertainment brand, but still geeky pursuits. And X-men.
Next to Gryffindor is Ravenclaw, and up at the top there are "air" and "fire" emblems from Avatar: The Last Airbender. This is fun! I still don't know the one between caffeine and Jedi, or the one above Aperture Science. And is the skull anything specific, or just, you know, "pirates=awesome!"?
Not sure about the pirate skull or the one between caffeine and Jedi, but the one above aperture is one of the fancy legend of Zelda triforce logos.
