Box art for the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Blu-ray and DVD. As previously reported, the first season will be available to buy on September 9th in the US.

Was that the best they could come up with?
I find it sleek and simple, approved.
Average box arts, but hey, Whedon-y box arts have never looked awesome.

Maybe that's part of why I like Buffy comics so much !
What more do you want, Ricardo L, Stelian? The Blu-Ray is the logo, the DVD is the crew. (Plus added bonus of sunglasses-wearing Coulson on the spine.)

Personally, I like it. And I can't wait to get the DVD. It'd be nice if it came out before the second season starts, so you can refresh. Guess I'll have to hope that ABC actually airs all the episodes in the month lead-up.
While the final artwork is good, I was kinda hoping for something like a faux-Drew Struzan type of image montage or something along the lines of something similar to the box-art choices for Agents of SHIELD's MCU film cousins (i.e. something that looks like a snapshot from the movie itself or an image that gives a vibe about what kind of experience you're gonna get).

Then again, the BluRay cover is growing on me the more I look at it...

That blu-ray cover looks sharp to me.
They should make the Bluray cover reversible. With the Hydra logo on the other side of it! :)
Haha, that's a great idea, Jas. Love it.

I'm not fond of the DVD cover, but the Blu Ray one is simple 'n' elegant, how I like it.
It would be nice if there was a variant featuring something similar to the comic book artwork that was released in the final weeks of the first season.
I was hoping it would be something different than the promotional pic we've been seeing since before the show launched.

However, I guess the main customers for the DVDs are the people who watched the show. It's probably not a bad thing to make the set as easily recognizable as possible. There have been times when I saw a DVD on the store shelf and thought, "Oh, this is out? I might as well pick it up."
