Discuss the Marvel Studios panel at SDCC. It starts at 5:30 Pacific time. We expect to see some familiar faces as well as some new ones. It won't be livestreamed - that's just for a signing going on beforehand. The link goes to ComingSoon's liveblog. SFX has a recap as well as does io9.

Zzzzzz....Antman. Bring out The Avengers.
Yes, exactly. But then the Avengers came out dancing and throwing roses.
So that's the secret behind RDJ's FB flowers, but doesn't explain why he wasn't at the signing. Oh, well, that was a fun liveblog - one of the best I've tracked. Did not expect Josh to show up even though we all kinda knew it was him. And the GotG tidbit whoa.

I can't wait til May 5 - that scene people! Even in text, man. Guess the the last spoilers I chose to read wasn't wistful thinking but real. I CANNOT WAIT - 10 months ugh.
Last year Tom Hiddleston came out in full costume while staying in character. The year before that, Robert Downey Jr danced down to the panel from the back of Hall H.

I'm surprised they didn't have any theatrics this time beyond throwing roses to the crowd. I imagine the footage was awesome to see, but it's the crazy stunts that play well for everyone who couldn't attend San Diego Comic Con.
My Marvel Cinematic Universe predicted film release schedule:

PHASE THREE
July 17, 2015: Ant-Man (confirmed)
May 6, 2016: Captain America 3 (confirmed)
July 8, 2016: Doctor Strange (confirmed, predicted date)
May 5, 2017: Miss Marvel or Black Panther (unconfirmed)
July 28, 2017: Guardians of the Galaxy 2 (confirmed)
November 3, 2017: Thor 3 (confirmed, predicted date)
May 4, 2018: The Avengers 3 (confirmed, predicted date)

PHASE FOUR
July 6, 2018: Unknown Phase Four film
November 2, 2018: Unknown Phase Four film
May 3, 2019: Unknown Phase Four film

I'm iffy on some of these, but those are my guesses for now.
All I'm getting from my side of social media is disappointment that there isn't anything about Dr. Strange, and the lack of Janet van Dyne.

At this point, I'm not optimistic about either a Ms. Marvel (or Captain Marvel, whichever they decide to go with) or a Black Panther. ETA: Someone mentioned to me the Captain Marvel rumors of talks started up again, so... a bit more hopeful.

Variety pegged Doctor Strange for July 8th. I haven't seen any other major confirmation of that though. It's weird that Variety is the only one 'confirming' that date.
They've been kind of burned by the Ant-Man production woes being so open to public scrutiny. Maybe they're being a little more cautious about announcing future projects.
Yeah, I think playing it closer to the chest is a better idea. I personally feel a little railroaded at times with all of these future installment announcements before the latest film is widely out yet. But that's just me. I mean, I don't run a huge franchise, but I wonder if planning this far down means they're slow to react to criticisms, i.e. lack of female and PoC leads. IDk.
It's still kind of weird to methat they would announce Guardians of the Galaxy 2 on July 28th, 2017 without confirming Doctor Strange on July 8, 2016 and announcing the May 5, 2017 film. Hm.
Yes, without the crazy fans...oh!
Let the questions begin. I always wanted to do that.
I don't think they have the lead for Doctor Strange locked yet. Guardians is a sure thing PR-wise since they can describe it as "more of this!" Especially if they are going to address the criticisms by adding movies with women and people of color leading them, they need to have more of the details hammered out first. Sad to say, media and fan reactions are still much kinder to a talking space raccoon than more diverse human beings in leading roles. They need to have their media strategy well in hand before they say anything. That's what I'm hoping is going on, anyway.
I wonder if roses are about some detail in A2.
The most composed comment I can offer on the Age of Ultron footage is *drooooool*
I really like Paul Rudd. I'd be thrilled to see him join our beloved Avengers.
And of course the Age of Ultron footage sounds spectacular. I'm glad to be reminded of how exciting it is to have Spader in there for this one.
FYI, or maybe FWIW, Feige told Russ Fischer of /Film that the footage won't be online until much later this year.

They certainly seem to get good people. To date the most negative thing I've heard was from the guy who played the Red Skull and that was that he hated the appliance.
I'm stuck wondering now if Ultron can drool. Don't laugh, can it?

Rather be questing on other things.
@Madhatter. Maybe he drools battery acid. I'm sure Joss Whedon has made a joke about AI and battery acid before (Alien 4).
Can't wait for this. Could be the biggest box office performer ever.
