Scooby Doo 2 Premiere Photos.

Everyone looks great & HAPPY.
It's kinda cool seeing Alicia, most known for being Cher on Clueless, and Sarah, most known for being Buffy, a girl kind of molded after Cher, together. The first pic seems like the smiles were forced.
Well smiles on the red carpet are bound to be a little forced I imagine. Except for Jack nicholson. No one has more fun in his life than Jack I sometimes get the impression.

Sarah looks good as always even though she could still stand to gain a few pounds. Eat something Sarah, please. I'm scared that a few years down the line you might be another actress writing a book on your struggle with your eating disorder.

I remember Marti Noxon saying that they always stressed to the actors they didn't have to go all skinny-minny for ME, but the general media pressure was still on and almost all went the way of the Friends girls.

Except Eliza. She always stayed beautiful and slim, but still firm. Got some meat on'er and all that. And looks all the better for it. Arf arf!. Ahem.....I mean....
Yes, Sarah can still afford to gain weight, but she actually looks much better now than the last few seasons of Buffy where she was way too skinny. She looks much healthier (and happier) now.
You know, Ed, sometimes people are just *thin*. I've probably followed about the same body pattern that SMG has. Curvier in my late teens, early twenties, and then once the baby fat slid away, i was thin, and it had nothing to do with dieting or anything of the like. Genetics, metabolism, what have you, it's my body, and it's rather tired every time someone asks me if i have an eating disorder or if they are shocked by my chowing down on a cheeseburger and fries and still maintain the low weight. And this constant weight check on SMG is just as tired. Leave the girl alone. She looks amazing, much happier and healthier than she has in some time. And that's what counts.
Maybe the stress of working so hard for so long on Buffy made Sarah lose weight. I don't think that means she has an eating disorder. Everyone's metabolism is different and although I would kill to have the "problem" of losing weight because of stress, she didn't look very healthy at the end of the series. I always thought her figure was the most aesthetically pleasing in the first season. I just like girls with meat on their bones. I agree with EdDantes about Eliza. She's yummy. Not that I want to compare because I don't think that's very fair. Everyone's body is different. I would never assume that Aly, for instance, is anorexic. She's just very little.

Syd: I have the same problem. I have co-workers asking me if I have an eating disorder (and these people have seen me eat) and I usually get one or more comments a week re "you need to put on weight". Wonder how they'd feel if I responded, "You need to loose some" - not that I would because that would be both mean and none of my business (thats a hint guys!). Mind you, a bit more padding would be nice when its -20.

My dad is in his mid 70s and he weighs the same as he did when he was in his mid 20s - its a body type and its called ectomorph (thanks Dad!). Speaking of food, its time for second breakfast...

I thought SMG looked really nice in these pictures and I agree that although she is thin she doesn't look anorexic thin. She started Buffy when she was still a teenager and had a little bit of "baby fat" on her that you could definitely see in her face. Her breasts do look smaller but in the early seasons of Buffy they had her in those push up bra's that were popular back then. I don't think she looks any thinner than Alyson Hannigan or Emma Caulfield yet I never hear comments about them being too thin and needing to eat something. SMG doesn't have the look of someone with an eating disorder (believe me, I've known people with anorexia, and a dear, sweet girl who died because of it). They tend to have a very unhealthy skin tone, thinning hair and their teeth don't look so good. I'm not trying to pick on Calista Flockhart but boy she did fit that description a bit and she was very thin during her Ally McBeal days. And also the fact that SMGs role as Buffy was a very physical one and James Marsters in an interview talked about how tough physically it was for SMG in her role as Buffy, her being a girl and all was something like he said. And I remember seeing one scene in Buffy when she's punching the bag (not the scene from the musical which in slow motion makes her look like a weakling) and she had definite major muscle tone going on in her arms which is an indication that she is extremely well toned and not anorexic. With anorexia you tend to not have much muscle tone at all. I also know she's into some of that martial arts training which is also something that tones the body extremely well.

And, I don't think EdDantes was being overly critical because frankly, according to my husband, most men do like to see women with a bit more meat on their bones than what the average young actress or supermodel looks like. Of course I'm over weight and he might just be trying to make me feel better!!

My daughter is extremely thin and eats constantly. Her favorite foods are anything she can put in her mouth yet she's thin as a rail.
They all look great! I love how Matthew Illiard always looks so happy and goofy! I think Sarak's fine, she was a bit too skinny in the Chosen finale but they probably was the physicality of the role and it also reflected the life of the character, how she was kind of stressed and tired, I remember Marti Noxon saying how she always wanted to do an episode of Buffy fat or something...
