Joss Whedon and others talk about the writers' room. It's another excerpt from Tara Bennett's "Showrunners: The Art of Running a TV Show" book, which is now available to buy.

There should be an Emmy for showruning. There is an oscar for best director. Why not award and make note of the showruner in the TV opening credits?
It's a fair point.
So now you can buy the book based on the documentary that the kickstarter backers will likely never get to see. Great.
The last paragraph by Joss in this article perfectly sums up why there's a previous article about BtVS being the quintessential cult show.
I'm waiting for the programme. Is there a problem with it, IrrationaliTV?
There should be an Emmy for showrunning O_o. It might feel clunky but I don't give crap. I'd so get behind that idea.
Bunnies, it was due to kickstarter backers May of 2013. The guys making it have been shopping it to everyone in order to make as much money as possible out of it before delivering a single promised item to backers. They are unapologetic and even quite rude about inquiries as to when backers will get access. I'll never back anything these dudes do again.
