Agents of SHIELD Season 1 Blu-ray/DVD out today in the US and Canada. The Blu-ray was out of stock at but is back now. If you want to view the extras before you buy then has a clip of Chloe's stunts, Parade Magazine has a deleted scene, TVLine has a clip from the 'Cello Duet' featurette and Hero Complex has a Sif featurette clip.

Out of stock already! Guess this show is more popular than I thought. ;)
Back in stock now and currently number 8 in the Blu-ray best sellers chart.
This is good news. I'm betting being part of the larger MCU is helping. Also, it was a good idea to release it at the same time as Winter Soldier.
My Best Buy only had one copy of the Blu Ray which I got(they had a few copies of the DVD).They also only had one copy of the Captain America:The Winter Soldier Best Buy exclusive steel book packaging which I also got.Man,glad I got there when they opened.

So I was on the Best Buy website and if you buy Agents of SHIELD, you can get The Winter Soldier at a discount. Just add SHIELD to your cart, then go to the product page for the Winter Soldier set you want (DVD, blu-ray, blu-ray multidisc) and add that. Then you'll see the discount.

I don't know if it's a deal you can get at the store, but you can buy it online and choose store pickup and still get the deal.

The SHIELD set on blu-ray is $5 more expensive on than Amazon right now, but you'll save a lot more money on The Winter Soldier if you were going to buy that anyway.

Here's the fine print for The Winter Soldier discount off the website:

Save on Captain America: The Winter Soldier

when you buy a select TV show priced $14.99 or more. Get the movie for $4.99 on DVD, $9.99 on Blu-ray or $14.99 on 3D Blu-ray or 3D SteelBook.

Follow these steps:

Choose a qualifying TV show and add it to your cart.

Return to this page and choose your version of Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
Items may ship separately. Products must be purchased on the same receipt to receive savings. Regular price of $17.99 DVD, $19.99 Blu-ray Disc, $22.99 Blu-ray 3D, $24.99 3D SteelBook when purchased separately. Offer valid 9/7/149/13/14.

Is this item not going in the Whedonesque Shop ?
That Best Buy deal overlaps with a buy 3 TV titles ($14.99 or more) and get them all 25% off. So if you buy CA, AoS, plus two other tv titles then the savings will add up.
Are there any particular differences between the UK and US blu-rays? I'm in Sweden, and my blu-ray player is zone B, but my computer (which also has a blu-ray player) is set to zone A, and I prefer to go with whichever has the most features if there's a difference (I assume there's no PAL speedup to worry about on the UK blu-ray, since that's usually only a DVD problem).
Has it been confirmed that the releases are indeed zone A and zone B respectively, or is one of them AB or region free?

ETA: I'd like to know the same about Much Ado, come to think of it, which I've been meaning to get on Blu-Ray as soon as I know whether one release is better than another.

GreatMuppetyOdin - the US version of Much Ado has more extras than the UK one. For some reason, the US distributor won't license some of the extras to the UK distributor.
