Avengers: Age of Ultron won't have a post-credit scene. "There will be a tag, but there’s not a post-post-credit scene”.

So everyone will get to experience what a lot of foreign markets got experience last time around, as Schwarma post-credit scene was added so late in the game, that only the US and markets that had the movie premiere after that got to experience that on the big screen.

“There is nothing at the very end. And that’s not a fake-out,” Whedon says. “We want people to know so they don’t sit there for 10 minutes and then go: ‘Son of a bitch! I’ll kill them!’”

But it's tradition. :(
So this means we don't have to wait to use the bathroom?
We get to see Joss name shine on it, clap (I clap, don't you?), watch the tag, and then we can leave. Less wait for the bathroom.

I might just sit around for one of the viewings, because I do that for every movie anyway.
Ok, just so everyone's clear - there's a tag soon into the credits, but once that's over you can sprint to the bathroom.
But ... but I LIKE the post-post-credit scene!

*plans to buy advance tickets anyway*
I do clap, Numfar PTB. When I go on opening weekend, anyway. The crowd in those screenings is usually pretty excited and everyone claps when the credits come up.
Protip: stay anyway. All those names scrolling by? They made the movie for you.
That is too bad but I'm glad I know now.

I feel the same way. I already feel cheated. 😀

I will clap when seeing Joss's name, and I will wait till the very, very end to see the non-scene at the end. It's a tradition.

I have 3 tickets to see it at 7:30 pm on April 30. My two companions backed out. Hopefully I won't have to occupy all 3 seats by myself.
Shenanigans.
Should there be a spoiler tag on this? I mean, it's helpful to know, but it's still revealing information about the film.
I'll make my own post-credit scene! With shawarma and action figures!
I loathe the post-credit scene trend Marvel's revived, so I'm very happy they're not doing this for "Age of Ultron." It's spilled over into other studios, like Fox's stupid pyramid building scene after "X-Men: Days of Future Past".

Just not a fan of these scenes at all.
As far as as I'm concerned,we're still getting a post credits scene, just not two and the one we are getting is mid credit.

I always find it funny now how Green Lantern had a post credit/mid credit scene setting up a sequel that will never be made now.
As long as I get a decent post movie clip I'm good - loved the Avengers diner bit, but then all movies started feeling "required" to add one or two and it seems, to me, that some of the charm was lost. Went from being kind of a special surprise treat to a required gift ....

So yeah, as long as I get my teaser featuring an introduction of Black Panther, fighting the Winter Soldier as Captain Marvel flies by fighting off Thanos' space troops with Doctor Strange in the background muttering incantations ... then I'm good :)

This! 😃
To be fair, we are getting pre-credits scenes. So that should count?
Avengers was the first Marvel movie even to have a mid-credits AND post-credits sequence, right? So they're just bringing it back down to one. I'll live, I think.
I loved the shawarma scene and I think it would be hard to top. I always stay to the end of the credits anyway. Like theonetrueb!X said above, these people have all worked hard on the movie and deserve to be recognised.
I agree, even if I don't read fast enough to know every single name. I also enjoy the music. Unless my son has to go to the bathroom, we stay until the end of the credits.
How about instead of a post-credits scene, a card flashes that reads, "PEGGY CARTER WILL RETURN, ABC 2016".
Since Subway is already doing a tie-in they should tell Subway to pay more money and do a post credits scene. They would all be sitting around talking how hungry a big battle makes them. Tony would say, "anyone for Shawarma." Thor would laugh and say "doesn't midgard have anything else to offer." Cap would say "how about Subway, it's a healthy choice." (or just how about Subway). They would decide to send Quicksilver to get some Subway. He'd come back a second later and they would say, "That's was freaky fa"...then it just cuts off.
Did you peeps read what Art said in the comments? Totally brilliant.

"The post credits scene should be a shot of Stan Lee, as a janitor, cleaning up the aftermath of the party scene and he nonchalantly picks up Thor's hammer to wipe off the table and simply lays it back down and keeps cleaning!"
Yeah, the Stan Lee/Thor's hammer idea would be great. Which also brings up another point I thought about for my Subway "commercial". Jared picks up Thor's hammer. Maybe instead of saying "That was freaky fa..." they could say "That was faster then Ji..."
The ending/the fallout in this one must be too heavy to follow up with two post-credits bits. Sounds like they just want us to sit there in the dark and process it as the credits roll and the last of the film's [I'm guessing sombre, chilling, foreboding, and/or just plain depressing] score washes over us.

:(

Excited ! Even for the deathy parts ! :)
