Joss Whedon and James Gunn on Female Superheroes and Hillary 2016. What they think will happen first: a female standalone superhero movie or a woman in the White House?

That's a really good photo of Joss!
PEGGY Carter.
Isn't Sharon her neice? Oops... :/
I've been wanting a She-Hulk movie or series for some time (someone please put Diablo Cody, Terry Gilliam and Kevin Feige in a room with a stack of Dan Slott's She-Hulk run). A lot of potential for that character. The new Ms. Marvel, Kamala Khan, would also be great to see (though it would pretty much only make sense after the release of Captain Marvel, and probably best as a series).
I don't know much about Squirrel Girl, but the concept alone is something I'd want to see brought to life.
From Fox, I'd like to see a Shadowcat movie starring Ellen Page.
I believe they were focusing in MCU, since there had being more than a couple of female super heroes in movies: Most of Mila Jovovich's actions, Tomb Raider, Supergirl, Cat Woman and Kick-Ass has Hit Girl as the biggest hero.
I still don't understand why we can't have a Black Widow movie. *sigh*
Chaos Man, I guess they're referring to comic book-adapted female superheroes who get a movie made in this generation. So that discounts the original Supergirl movie.

Halle Barry's Catwoman and Jennifer Garner's Elektra maybe don't count because they started off as villains, or at least anti-heroes ? You could argue that Hit-Girl is an anti-hero as well, I suppose.

Heh, I know, you really gotta narrow the qualifications to make the article relevant. A superpowered, squeaky-clean (guess that discredits Black Widow?) heroine whose film is actually good ?
