I'm also extra excited because I installed the IGN app on my Roku, and I can watch Joss's NerdHQ conversation tomorrow on my big projector screen. The streaming seems to be working well, and it'll be almost as nice as being there except for the part where I won't have an opportunity to ask questions.
So happy for/jealous of/but relieved not to be everybody at SDCC!

Joss in a previous interview earlier this year hinted that 'Wastelanders' time has passed and most likely won't happen.

I'm guessing this is dead, at least with Joss's involvement. He mentioned in an interview during the Ultron press tour that when he and Ellis conceived it, it was a much more radical idea-and-format because web video was less developed. Sounded like the times sort of passed the project by while Joss was doing his Marvel thing.
But maybe they're still working on it! That was just the impression I got from his answer.

Shepherd's Tale which was released in 2010 was the last title released under the Universal license:
Last year's, Leaves on the Wind, shift things around during the transition, and point to all the license being dealt with FOX instead already:
They'll probably just keep that going next year.

They might be saving that for NYCC though, Season 10 was officially announced during NYCC 2013.
Though happening is very likely, considering that both titles are among best selling titles from the publisher.

The Q&A with Jeff Goldsmith podcast was allowed to share the entire recording of the panel. In case someone comes back to this, here's the link.
The richest part of this recording, is that unlike some of the high quality recordings I watched on Youtube, Scott Allie's intro is presented here in its entirety, including the news about the Leaves on the Wind follow-up and Season 10 news that mentions the 25 issue length of A&F and 30 issue length for Buffy for the season.
