Whedon gives definitive comment about "Avengers: Age of Ultron" Director's Cut. During the NerdHQ Q&A, Joss explained why there wouldn't be a director's cut.

There will, however, be "a bunch of stuff" in the DVD extras.

Good for him. On one hand I'm sure there will be some deleted scenes that I'm going to LOVE and wished made it into the film. However, I completely understand and admire his stance. Even if he feels like he made creative compromises, he still looks at it as THE film he was trying to make, and part of that process is a partnership with the studio.
