(SPOILER) Full Transcript of Joss's Interview on KROQ. The entire version of the interview that was mentioned below. Scroll down to the bottom of the page. The Spoiler is for the Episode 22 title.

Kaivaal YOU ARE A GOD!! thankyou :)
nice, i like how they cut to a SMG commercial after :)
Joss mentions how they spent a lot of time in the W&H lobby in Angel... I noticed that too, but it wasn't really apparent. I think the storyline just has me so caught up in it that I didn't even notice they had changed sets all too often. That's Whedon-talent.
:) I wanted to post this last night, but I know the rule about linking to your own site, so I didn't. I was just all "Yay, us!" and happy and bouncy.
Oh txvoodoo, I hadn't even noticed that was your post. Thank you so much for transcribing all that--I know it can be more of a hassle than it seems. It was really nice of you for doing that and sharing.

That was a wonderful, wonderful conversation. Joss Whedon is just so great. Some day someone should create a site devoted solely to discussing his work and anything related to it.

LOL.

I'm still waiting for ME to create a website.

Txvoodoo thanks for taking the time to transcribe that...i would never have seen it if you had not :) thankyou!
Hey folks - I didn't transcribe it - one of the great folks who is working on Saving Angel with me did, and sent it to me to be posted.

Not wanting to take credit where it isn't due! I'm just the medium for the message *grin*
Kevin states that Joss is writing the last episode but Joss does not correct him...Has there been a change in writers for the last episode or did Joss not feel like giving the actual writer credit?
i kinda wish the last episode was called "Angels". you know, to go with the "city of.." it could be about spike and angel, their souls, blah blah. "not fade away" is cool too though.
I bet Joss will get a story by credit for the episode, just like "Smile Time". "Not Fade Away" is his idea, his story, he probably had an outline too, but he didn't write the actual script.

I guess "Not Fade Away" comes from the phrase "It's better to burn out than fade away." It's quite tragic and fatalistic sounding to me. But the words "Not Fade Away" on their own are actually sort of hopeful. Good job coming up with that one!

i'm assuming that joss has a heavy hand in the finale anyway, and he was just talking about the general story of the finale
Joss Whedon is just so great. Some day someone should create a site devoted solely to discussing his work and anything related to it.

You do know about WhedonWiki.com don't you? Not that there's a section for discussing this kind of thing yet, but a few clicks and I can make one, and the best thing is that anyone can add to it.

By the way, you can get an audio version of the interview here.

Joss sounded sad to me... and a bit on the desperate side.

I feel like the grr-argh guy at the end of Becoming, part 2.
Ooh, thanks for the audio link. I was looking for that earlier.

Isn't "Not Fade Away" a song?

electricspacegirl--I think you're the only person who understands me ;)
Oh, right, duh... I'm slow : P, I get ya stake.
Knew you'd get it eventually kaivaal ;) Seriously, thanks for the wiki and the audio links!
