(SPOILER) Discuss Angel & Faith Season 10 #18. It's the third part of the "Those Who Can't Teach, Teach Gym" arc.

Is the statue at the end significant somehow? I'm not recognizing it. I was REALLY hoping it'd be Acathla.
@Xander: I don't think we've seen that statue before. But it would appear that it's about to become a lot more significant soon, since it's clearly set up to stand as the reason that Archaeus was so interested in Mary.
I feel like Dru keeps acting like she's never killed a slayer. She talks about finally getting to taste slayer blood. I supposed we didn't see her drink from Kendra, so maybe she didn't have her blood?
She never tasted Kendra's blood but it is still a continuity error as Spike gave her a taste of the Chinese Slayer's blood that he killed during the Boxer Rebellion. There was that very suggestive scene in Fool For Love where he invites her to
"Have a taste" and she seductively sucks the Slayer's blood off his finger.
She is also kinda insane, and might have forgotten. :)
Insanity does cover a multitude of sins...LOL!
Got my copy of Angel & Faith # 18,Part III of "Those Who Can't Teach,Teach Gym."

Not a bad issue. Most of us were already spoiled about Dru and Archaeus and I'm still not sold on Archaeus based off how he was used over in buffy but we'll see here.

I really liked the Faith/Fred temaup element of this arc.It was a nice change of pace.

Also was nice to see Koh back.

As I've seen mentioned by others,I agree that this is the first time in a while that vampires felt more threatening. That I think happens just by the long run of the product.

The Walking Dead tv show has suffered a little from that too although the new spin-off Fear The Walking Dead is bringing that threat back due to it's timeline and setting.

Overall I thought this was fun little arc.
