Why Avengers: Age of Ultron didn't have a Grey Hulk. Screen Rant speaks to VFX supervisor Christopher Townsend about why we didn't see Hulk turn a different colour as a result of Scarlet Witch's machinations.

I'm quite glad they didn't use the grey Hulk. As they said in the article, he's effectively a different character. Just having him be the Hulk, but even angrier, would be a waste.

I actually think they could do a pretty awesome trilogy of Hulk movies based on his various forms. Of course, since the distribution rights (which are different from the character rights) are tied up at Universal forever, we'll probably never know.
