Buffy 'attacked Scooby writer' claims Brit paper. A tawdry little gossip item which takes remarks made by James Gunn, script writer for Scooby Doo 2, in an interview and places them completely out of context.

I think this article has a ton of tongue-in-cheek to it!
oh that british press!
Here is the original interview with the writer in question, which this story seems to be spinning as if SMG is out of control. (Scroll down to the bottom).
Ah, so it seems like she just hit him for writing a scene, yet she doesn't know her own strength so it hurt a bit. And the British press decide to spin it out to make it sound like SMG beat seven shades of sh*t out of him.
Thank you for that bovik, I've amended my subject line accordingly.
We've had a few discussions here about 'context' for quotes. The London paper makes it out that she attacked him, like Russell Crowe at an awards show, while the interview he did makes it clear that it was good, healthy, fun. Especially with everyone else laughing!
Darn that SMG! *wink* But it's interesting to see a newspaper pick up a bit from a fansite interview.
jeeze.......people will put a spin on anything.
Just some really random comment.
I think it was in that SMG and Kill Bill thread, someone commented that Sarah punches like a girl.
While reading this current thread I couldn't not remember that comment, and laughed a bit.
Could that really hurt?
well, she is a girl, so puncing like one i guess is a good thing :)

She's a woman, she shouldn't punch like a 12 year old girl. As was stated in the previous thread, there are plenty of women who don't punch like girls.

The bit about a 'blur of purple fury' made me think of a little girl closing her eyes and wheeling her arms round and round!
"The bit about a 'blur of purple fury' made me think of a little girl closing her eyes and wheeling her arms round and round!"

That made me laugh because all I could think of is the anime character "Sailor Moon" spinning around. My daughter is a huge fan of that show!

I liked the "real" interview. Sounds like they had a great time on the set. Personally, I used to watch that show "American Gladiators" and always thought it would be fun to go in one of those big "hamster" balls. Of course I was younger and healthier then.
well sorry to make some people mad, but a girl (woman) should punch like a girl (woman) :)

just teasing, im only saying who cares if in real life she hits like a girl......................
She does punch like a little girl. I just think this writer may have enjoyed himself a little too much. "ohh oohh I am helpless, stop beating me....I've been baaad."

And Sarah "Wow this guy is not very tough. I'm just joking around and I'm beating him. Hmm, why is he breathing so hard?"

Pervy Perverson, that's me;-)
Yes, I think most men would like to be beat on by a nubile young woman - Geez EdDantes - your perversion is rubbing off on me!
Easy there, Ed, you got your own young gal to beat on you....and she'll not go so easy next time if you're not careful.....;)
