Budget Buffy Box-sets (R2). Just as us Brits finish off a hugely expensive DVD collection, Fox announce that cheaper DVD sets on the way.

These may be the Amaray sets that Amazon have had listed for a while, the nice packaging has always been what Fox have claimed to be the reason for the high price.

Seasons 7 isn't in the offer.

The Buffy offer at play.com

If these have any extra features, I'll be quite annoyed!

Even so it still might be slightly cheaper importing from the States, give the exchange rate at the moment.
If you look at the descriptions of those boxsets at play.com, it says that they do have the extras. Bugger. By the way, I reckon it'd be even cheaper to get them from over here in Aus. I got the first six seasons for $320AU, roughly $240US and 135GBP, but that was a while ago. Our dollar is always weak, so it'll probably be a bargain for you : P. I think the best going price over here at the moment is at ezydvd.com.au.

I meant to say extra extra features, ie. if they're the same material as the R1 releases, or just the R2 ones repackaged. I don't mind about them having the same extra features, I've gotten all the box sets on release day, I'm just not patient enough to wait for the prices to come down, especially since its taken years for the price to come down.
I wish they had used the Amaray cases to start with if they would have been cheaper...heck even if they hadn't been. I don't like the packaging they use now, it's too much of a pain to get the DVD's out, all those folds. I would rather be able to just pull the disc I want right off the shelf. More expensive doesn't allways mean better.
