Bryan Fuller takes "Wonderfalls" Shopping. After failing on FOX Fridays, Fuller forages for a fresh family who fancies "Falls".

Sorry about the heading. I was going for a "British Tabloid" feel, but I think it just comes off as awful alliteration.

I like it VampiresSuckLOLOLGetIt.
We need more f'ing headlines like that ;). Very cute I like a lot.
While Fuller believes that there was a lack of support for "Wonderfalls" in the upper echelons of FOX [...]corporate communications v.p. Scott Grogin asserts, "The decision was entirely Gail Berman's. She is the entertainment president for the network, and the decision was entirely hers." Bitca.

Does this mean there should be a heavily mounted fan campaign? Is Tim Minear recommending that?

Heh heh Simon. (And thanks for taking care of that other scary post!)

i always knew sandy gallin was the real brains of the operation. damn you berman.
The episode that was supposed to air this week sounds awesome! This article might be a bit spoilery...I dunno, can you call it a spoiler if the show has been cancelled?
Fuller also reminds his fans (and potential buyers), "The important thing is, we're not dead, we're in ICU."

Bring out yer dead!

Here's one.

That'll be ninepence.

I'm not dead!

What?

Nothing. There's your ninepence.

I'm not dead!

'Ere, he says he's not dead.

Yes he is.

I'm not!

He isn't.

Well, he will be soon, he's very ill.

I'm getting better!

No you're not, you'll be stone dead in a moment.

Well, I can't take him like that. It's against regulations.

I don't want to go on the cart!

Oh, don't be such a baby.

I can't take him.

I feel fine!

Oh, do me a favor.

I can't!

Well, can you hang around for a couple of minutes? He won't be long.

I promised I'd be at the Robinsons'. They've lost nine today.

Well, when's your next round?

Thursday.

I think I'll go for a walk!

You're not fooling anyone, you know. Isn't there anything you could do?

I feel happy! I feel happy!
ringworm, I think the precedent here is if a show is cancelled in mid flow so to speak then details about future episodes are not really spoilers.

But if Wonderfalls does get picked up, then details about future episodes would be considered spoilers.
For some inexplicable reason I have an overwhelming urge to go watch Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

And OT but did we know about this? I looked through the archives and didn't see anything but I'm reluctant to post it just in case. Anyway, big congrats to Chris Buchanan and partner.
News to me stakeholder. Feel free to post it. I think I can translate the Variety speak. And congrats to Chris, he very nice man. Answered an inquiry of mine once.
I think I can translate the Variety speak.

"prexy"?

overwhelming urge to go watch Monty Python and the Holy Grail

I can't help but think of that sequence when I read or hear "not dead yet" ;) Though posting nearly the entire scene here may have been a bit of overkill—just got caught up in the good news!
Just occurred to me - can Tim get hired to work on Serenity now?
I wondered how the doctor of theology character was going to pay off... dammit what was going to come next sounds so good. All he's gotten to do is counsel a wayward nun.
"prexy"?

Slang term meaning a president. Or so says my dictionary.
Serenity now

"Serenity now, Tim! Serenity now!"

I wondered how the doctor of theology character was going to pay off...

I wonder if the God aspect of the show caused the execs to think twice... I personally like the idea, but not everyone is willing to address such topics in Prime Time.
This is pretty great news. I would think that Wonderfalls would have a better chance of getting picked up by another network than something like Angel. It must be a lot cheaper to produce. I'll cross my fingers and hold out hope, though it'd be really ironic if the WB picked it up. The network I've spent so much time furiously hating saving the show from another network I furiously hate? With friends like the WB...
While I wouldn't have the problem here in the UK, I'd imagine there'd be some conflicted souls out there should The WB pick up "Wonderfalls", lots of people have said they're cancelling their WB subscriptions come May 20th. Bet if they were to pick up a show that in my opinon, started off good, and was getting better, would they still cancel their subscription out of loyalty for "Angel", or would they keep it in the hopes that the first 4 episodes of "Wonderfalls" are only a small taste of things to come.

I still haven't accepted "Angel"'s demise, and even though I know I'm still in huge denial, I'm really not convinced that it's beaten yet.
