Nathan and Alan discuss Con-Man with Kevin Smith. Nathan Fillion and Alan Tudyk are the first guests on Kevin Smith and Mark Bernardin's new show, Fat Man on Batman.

In a shiny bit of news they reveal that Alan will be in an upcoming episode of Castle.

Fat man on Batman has over 100 shows and has been around for at least 4 years. Nice that con man is getting more exposure.
As a podcast, yes. As a complete audiovisual experience it's quite new (this is the very first time they've had guests.)
Joss Whedon love makes me giddy always.

I loved Con Man. Would totally pitch in again for a season two.
@brinderwalt - it might be the first time they've had a guest on youtube, but it's certainly not the first time they've had guests on Fatman on Batman. The first 50+ guests were an amazing array of people who'd worked on various iterations of Batman on screen and in print.
Agent, they spend the first several minutes of the video saying, "We have guests! For the first time! Actual guests! We've never had guests before!"

Kevin and Mark consider this to be a new show, so the topic description is just matching how they are describing it.
That was really fun! I really need to watch the series, but keep getting distracted by other stuff. I also need to catch up with Castle. So little time .... Also just wanted to comment that both my husband and I felt that the redundant use of the F word was a little distracting.
[...]but it's certainly not the first time they've had guests on Fatman on Batman [the podcast].

Oh, believe me, I'm well aware of that. Imo Kevin Smith is an excellent interviewer, especially when it comes to interviewing actors and writers (I'm particularly fond of the Mark Hamil and Paul Dini ones, and the one he did with Kevin Conroy - where probably less than 15% of it is devoted to Batman talk - is simply fantastic.)
@brinderwalt - The Conroy talk is great, are the others you mentioned. It's really great to know Mark Hamill is legitimately one of us. He loves this stuff. I also really liked to various podcasts with Joe Quesada, Geoff Johns, and Grant Morrison, and their insights into Marvel and DC as applicable. All must-listens for comic book fans or nerds at large. You're right about Smith being a good interviewer.
