Alan Tudyk asks fans to send him fan fiction. Firefly, Con Man or Spectrum fan fiction.

#dontmakeitdirty

Hmm. There are so many ways this could go wrong... haha.
Is the comic or the novel out yet? All I've seen of Spectrum is the few minutes that were in Con Man. I don't know enough about it to write anything yet, but I could seriously stand to write something for Liza Lampira's character.
A couple of pages of the Spectrum comic were sent to supporters of the fundraising campaign a few weeks ago. The full comic is supposed to be available for "Free Comic Book" day which is sometime in May, I believe.
Lack of source material has never stopped people from writing fan fiction, in my experience.
My compulsions do not allow me to write without a slavish devotion to continuity.
This could actually turn out very much like an episode of "Con Man."

I guarantee somebody's going to submit a Rigmarole fanfic.

In my experience lack of source material is usually what causes fan fiction...

SAME. Let me tell you, weird and contradictory continuity screws me up so much. Looking at you, Star Wars.
Hm. The only fanfic I've ever read was a Firefly novel by Steven Brust. It was quite good. I think I only read it because I've read some of his books, so I trusted him. I guess fanfic worries me because I'm afraid it will spoil the original for me.
