Maurissa Tancharoen reveals Lupus attack during pregnancy. In a fundraising appeal for the Lupus Foundation, Maurissa describes how lupus threatened the life of her unborn daughter.

Maurissa is such an inspiration to me. I'm pregnant with my first pregnancy now, and have an autoimmune disease. My husband and I have been together for almost 18 years, and this quote from an interview with Maurissa in Audrey Magazine speaks to me:

“Jed and I have been in love for 15 years. People who share that kind of love deserve to raise a child together,” she says. “I won’t give up hope; I never have, and I never will.”

Oh Kiba best wishes to you and your family.

This was a great read. I had no idea how serious her situation had become. I'm blown away by her strength. Go Maurissa!
Happy baby-making, Kiba!
Mo is indeed the one from the Whedon pantheon that impresses me the most.
Mo is amazing.
