Orphan Black's Tatiana Maslany speaks about watching Buffy when she was growing up. She tells reporters "[it] always felt very empowering".

She and Rami Malek both won an Emmy tonight! Pretty great those 'tiny' shows could do it and very deserved!
@Dusk: I cheered when Rami Malek won, but literally fell out of my seat when Tatiana won the Emmy! Not only was is long-deserved, but it was for a sci-fi show!
The dictionary entry for "overdue" should feature Tatiana Maslany's picture as an illustration. (Maybe Chicago's induction to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame right next to it.)

About time.
SO overdue. The woman is a marvel. I completely forget that the clones are being played by the same actress, and she's even brilliant when it's one clone pretending to be another. I watch the show just to watch her. (Although I do love Felix.)
She is marvelous when she's one character posing as another.
Well past time, congrats to Tat on a well-deserved win and for having the good taste to enjoy Buffy.
