(SPOILER) Discuss Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. 4x04 "Let Me Stand Next to Your Fire". The episode was written by Matt Owens and directed by Brad Turner.

Hope everyone is doing well tonight!
We dodged the debate by one night this time.
They try and spread those things out I believe.
I missed the first 10 minutes due to rain but I do have a Canada report:

Coulson I know your mad his car's faster but that's just cheating.

With housing prices the way they are can I call Daisy?

Once I saw where he works now I knew that escape sequence would be coulorful.

Radcliffe careful with what your teaching her...

Hey we avoided the relationship drama, just need to fake a polygraph now...
Thank Zeus, AndrewC!
Dusk... Spoilers too soon. 😁
Almost too good to be true is bad bad news!
Or it's a surprise runaway agent...
Oh, so she's getting even I bet. ;)
OK. So even if technically Daisy holds a gun to her, Simmons knows she won't shoot her so it's still a lie... but whatever.
"I've missed you too." That was a great spy-besties moment.
Nice try, Mack. But no one touches Lola.
Coulson is reminding me of Movie Coulson in this episode.
He does seem more like movie Coulson.
May killed by Radcliffe...a personal low.
I liked movie Coulson.
Anyone else singing the Go Grease Lightening song right now?
Haha! That's cheating!
Ha! Nailed it indeed.
That's what I said...lol
I love Simmons!
Oh wow, he is nuts!
"Are you mad?"

"No. I'm just a scientist."
I like bossy Simmons. (No one make any "that's what Fitz said" jokes please...)
In-charge Simmons is my favorite.
So his eyes flaring up, his powers still work in there right?
Two thumbs up for Simmons.
That chamber was not built to suppress powers just contain them.
Also the car chase had a pretty intelligent ending.

I still hate car chases.
Hmmm...his powers are closer to say Willow's and the Initiative never could handle magic...could be a similar problem here if he got really pissed.

Fitz is a horrible liar! (I'm kinda glad about that though.)
Speaking as a Canadian they should've said Vancouver...
Are they going to tie Dr. Strange in with this story line?
We'll find out in two weeks, I guess.
If there was ever a worse way to wake up your spouse...
@NYPinTA - If you mean magic in general then yes.
Maybe I should wake my husband up like that.
I saw that coming.
Ghost Rider gets his iconic fire whip!
Oh oh the chain ! Beautiful ! Should have seen it coming but even so it was a nice bit.

They have a pattern: Scorch, Hellfire now Ghost Rider.
"Funny. I was gonna say the same thing - without the accent."
There are some very funny moments in this episode.

This season is really good so far.
This episode is delightful.
Yeah your really did have to see that coming.
Simmons and ME, NOT Simmons and I...
Yeah, Phil's a little bit angry...
This is the first episode this season I've felt :D :D :D about, for whatever reason. Happy to feel that again.
Absolutely killing it tonight. @Sunfire - It's the first one that's been non-stop, wall to wall good stuff.

He'll get over it.
Tweak the scene a bit and its a Dad mad his daughter's been hanging out with her hot rod boyfriend instead of staying home...

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing, Dusk.
Ha... Simmons takes one look at Aida and, "yep... she's an android."
Loved tonight's episode and how it brought everybody back together.
I have this vision of Daisy saying something to the effect that after seeing what happened to James that she really wished Dr. Garner was still around.
Dusk : SHIELD is familiar with the Asgardians. Demons are likely not much different.
@JDL: And James probably wishes Lash was still around.

He was certainly far more efficient at killing Inhumans than these pathetic Watchdog dudes.

@TimeTravellingBunny Actually I was thinking she actually might want Andrew the Psychologist.
@JDL I knew that was what you meant.
Incidentally, this was the first time in 4 episodes that they referenced Hive. I was wondering how long it would take. This season they've really been throwing a lot of references to past/absent characters:
Lincoln (in the first 3 episodes)
Andrew Garner
Trip
Agent Blake
Nick Fury
Whitehall (this episode)
Red Skull (this episode)
Tobias Ford from episode 1.09 "Repairs"
