Joss Whedon & Shawnee Kilgore will be at The Shakedown in Bellingham, WA on Saturday, December 17th. It's a 21 and over event.

Does anyone know (or can speculate) as to what Joss will do during the performance? I'm guessing mostly piano?
In Austin, it was a Q&A and Shawnee sang two or three songs solo during that. Afterward she did a full performance with her band on stage. Joss came up and took a bow but that was it. Since this is billed as both of them at a musical venue, one would have to think Joss' participation will be more than that.

I would imagine you're on the right track with his playing the piano. I think there will be a lot of them talking (with the trademark Whedon wit) about what inspired the songs before they perform them. The show itself is pretty inexpensive so it may simply be her on guitar, him on piano, with six songs and no backing band. I wish I could make it there; that's for sure.
One of my best friends lives in Bellingham. She hadn't known about Joss before knowing me, but she knows Shawnee Kilgore. She's also learned to appreciate Joss, not for his work, but for some of the things he has written for other purposes. She is going to this concert. I'm 3,000 miles away. I'm looking forward to hearing her account of the show.
Nebula1400, please tell us about your friend's experience! Can't wait to hear.
