A special hardcover collector's edition of the Buffy Watcher's Guides will be out this year. Yes, it's more 20th Anniversary tie-ins for the TV show. We're promised "all the best content from Volumes 1-3 of the original Watcher's Guides, as well as exclusive new content, including never-before-seen interviews with the cast and crew".

It says: "Hardcover: 384 pages", I remember Watchers Guide Vol. 2 being Huge....

Wonder what they'll be keeping, and getting rid of. Probably the color image galleries are gone, interview are staying. They'll probably reformat the episode guide section.
I'll keep my original copies, since they have lots of autographs of the cast.
However, I wonder if they'll reissue DVDs with new extras, like maybe the "proto-pilot" that used to be available on bootleg DVDs. There's also the "Tales of the Slayers" volumes, too.
Nothing yet about the original movie, though. Making a blu-ray with new interviews of the original cast should be a no-brainer
Didn't the original movie just get a blu release not long ago?
Yes, but it was basically was the same as the regular DVD. That's why an anniversary version with more interviews and maybe a commentary track would be a good idea
