(SPOILER) Buffy 7x05 "Selfless". Do yourself a favour. Don't read the wildfeed for this episode.

Not that it's got particularly spectacular revelations, but it's just such a good episode (of ALL seasons) that it deserves to remain virginal for. It's funny, it's sad, it's scary. It's Buffy! I'd call this the best episode since Tabula Rasa, and it tops that easily.

It's one of those episodes I'm going to rewatch many times... and Giles isn't even in it. All hail Drew Goddard, ME's new writer. He's made me like Willow again.

Drew Goddard is getting a lot of praise on the boards recently, does anyone know if he has his own website as there are several ME writers that do.
Yeah, he made me like Willow (she was extremely cool in this episode), but now I don't like Buffy (the character) anymore. Oh well.
Heh. I've never liked Buffy much, so no change there.
I strongly disagree with the opening post. DO read the WildFeed!

This post talks about tonight's episode in excited but vague and general ways, so as not to diss the censors, while still whetting the appetite. Please feel free to continue the thread but if you know what I know be careful not to give anything away to those who do not know anything yet. Thanks.

I'm SO psyched! I've already read the WildFeed cuz I'm one of those loonies who believes spoiling it for myself actually improves my enjoyment of the show. I won't go into detail about events of the plot here, except to say.. Well wait I can't say that. Okay I can say that it's called.. No that would be too specific, how do I word this so people don't get mad at me? I'll try to write in mostly general and vague terms. This'll be kinda like a preview.

It's very ####-centric, and in a way that should appeal to everybody. I can say that cuz last week's teaser hinted that anyway.

Those who hate #### will find reasons to like #### and understand ####'s perspective on things. Those who adore #### will find more reasons to adore ####. We learn a bit more about ####'s past. Nothing really that we don't already know, but it fills in some gaps of ####'s origins a little bit.

There will be furry #######. Is it okay to say that? What would an ####-centric episode be without #######? And we learn that ####'s name is really... Well okay that would give it away. ##### puts a ##### through #### as we saw again in last week's preview. However, that doesn't necessarily mean #### ####. ######## does though, which sorta comes a bit outta left field yet makes perfect sense. ###### pulls a ##### from a ######## given her by #'####### back in season ####. And we find out ###### still loves #### so he doesn't want #### to #### anybody, and ##### is still in####. So this episode potentially #### ## a lot of ##### #### from previous ######## throughout the ######, while still moving the overall plot arc for season seven forward. Oh, and #### doesn't whine, which is good. Yay, ####ie!

People have complained about some of the 'filler' episodes of recent weeks, particularly "Same Time Same Place" being written kinda weak and predictabe. I don't think that's gonna be the argument this week. Tonight's episode may be the best since the season opener. That is partly because there's gonna be a ####### number featuring #### in one of the #########s. I'm so excited!
I'm glad I did read the WildFeed, because my local affiliate had 'troubles' and we didn't get to see the whole episode. :(
i liked buffy when she didn't bash us around with who she's pinning for. there's the eternal love with angel that gets pushed aside on the show and makes me lose respect for her, not because she's not with angel but because it's just not believable with her history with him. Plus she was cooler when she wasn't invincible.
