April 27 2004

James Marsters with his band GOTR will be performing on Sharon Osbourne Show on April 28.

"Angel's nemesis from the WB's hit vampire drama James Marsters joins Sharon and performs with his band, Ghost of the Robot."

As for the Ryan Seacrest appearance I cannot find it listed on his site but as of now it looks like it may air on the same date as the Sharon Osbourne show.

Althought I did find some photos of the cast's last appearance on Ryan's show

James will appear on the Ryan Seacrest show on Tuesday the 27th per his {James's} official site.

He is taping Sharon Osbourne today, but it will be aired on Wednesday the 28th.
EdDantes and I caught the taping of the Sharon O show today. ** Um, interview spoilers ahead....for anyone who cares**

James looked yummy. His band played one of their new songs. It was pretty good. Not a huge fan of James' singing, but I wasn't there to hear the band anyway. Sharon made him do his British accent, which was cute.
He also mentioned that he was going to shave his head tomorrow, but he would still have just a little bit of hair(big sigh of relief from me who doesn't want to see him completely bald!) He said that he missed seeing the 'old James' in the mirror, and that he wouldn't miss the blond hair. Well, until his lovelife went downhill, then he might miss it! But I think he won't have much to worry about there!

James was very nice to the audience, who were constantly screaming at him during the breaks. He gave nods and smiles to all. He also said that "You guys are the reason I can do things like this"--meaning play with his band. He seems like a really great guy. We saw him and his band at the Knitting Factory on Saturday, and he totally gave love to the fans there too. He just seems like a great guy who knows that he owes a lot to the fans. Doesn't seem to take much for granted. I like that in an actor.
Personally, I liked James' hair better when Spike was crazy in the high school basement. I'm tired of the spiky platinum blonde look and I thought he looked sexier in "Lessons". But that's just me.
Oh, electricspacegirl, I am so with you!! Basement hair, me wants more Basement hair!
Thanks Rogue Slayer for the report! To be honest I'm relieved to hear that the band performed reasonably well, hee. I've heard accounts where they did...not so well in one or two concerts because of sound problems and such.

And big sigh of relief that he will still have a bit of hair left rather than going completly bald...thank God! LOL

And I'm with all of you on the two-toned Lesson hair. Yummy.
Oh God...yes....the two toned bed head of redemption. All those tossled curls....was a very good look for Spike. Will certainly be a fine look for Jame's natural brown hair too.
I'll be seeing GOTR this May here in Amsterdam. Don't like the music and am not a big Marsters fan, but it's probably the closest I'll ever get to be to a Buffyverse alum, so I thought 'what the hell'.
