Buffy Comics Artist drawing Rogue Monthly Preview. Check a few pages of the new Rogue monthly comic book drawn by previous Buffy Comics Artist Cliff Richards.

I read Buffy comics from time to time and I have to say that Cliff Richards is absolutely horrible. There are times when I have to go, "Who is that supposed to be? Angel? Riley? Giles?" They have such great covers sometimes, but it's just a cover-up. The art inside is truly cringe-worthy sometimes. Glad I'm not into Rogue.
I have to agree with you, Rogue Slayer, although Cliff Richards has definitely improved with experience. He still can't draw hair, though.
Ugh! HE draws the upcoming Rogue series?? Argh! I can't stand the guy! Apart from the utter lack of likenesses on the Buffy comics, his art is just mediocre to bad! No sense of dynamics whatsoever and everyone's face looks like they're made of of clay and the sculptor never finished his work. And WHY are the mouths so often drawn crooked to the side?

These pages look slightly better and maybe I only know his older work. And maybe he always rushed Buffy (certainly looked rushed) or maybe he had lousy inkers. But it's still not who I would have picked. Ever. So little definition to the faces. Ah well at least it's not Igor Kordey or something...
