Review of the new Superman comic has Angel's Humor. "Superman changes the entire story. His humor, which is very reminiscent of David Boreanaz's understated performance as Angel, lightens a tense situation."

"Given the piss-poor quality of the Superman books for the past ten years, it's fairly easy to leap over a metaphorical bar that has been constantly lowered. Greg Rucka does this with little difficulty."

Couple pieces of irony the fact that Angel is compared to Superman and they follow Superman on Wed nights. The other piece of irony is that Superman is a DC comic and now Joss is working for the rival comic company Marvel on the X-men. :)

Didn't David B. audition for the role of Superman in a new movie? :)
I think he was once put in the running for the new Batman, I'm not sure if he was ever up for Superman but hey him in either one would be great for the costume fit alone. :)
I think DB is better off not having gotten the Batman part. I'm sure he's looking to get away from the tortured hero bit for a while!

I like the fact that the new Batman is going to be more like the comic and nothing like the Joel Schumacher dreck; Christian Bale should be an excellent Bruce Wayne.
Yeah Bale might be the best Bruce Wayne yet. Oh and David did audition for Superman a while back. And really I think if he had the chance to be the lead in a summer blockbuster, like Batman or Superman, he'd take it. Tortured hero or not.

Most certainly true. Nonetheless, I'm glad DB didn't get those roles and hope he finds something more challenging, or at least off the path he's been walking for nigh 8 years.
