20th Century Fox starts thrifty, sleek production branch. 20th Century Fox Television is launching a new production arm aimed at producing edgy and inventive scripted and alternative series on lower budgets.

Has this article relevance here? It does seem a bit tenuous at best.
The fact she has ties to the Buffy/Angelverse and the fact that Fox owns those shows seems relevant to me.

Not to mention the fact that if Fox had done this a few years back this could have been a saving grace for Angel. They would have possibly been willing to pick up the show.
They should just pick up Angel.
Well, everybody (including me) is always complaining about the lack of original programming. Here's a studio whose trying to do somethign about it. And, it just so happens, that this same studio owns both Buffy and Angel and Firefly.
Yeah who knows, this could be good news down the line.
This seems like good news to me.
Leisner is my idol... I hope she picks up Wonderfalls since she was a major person in it.
Um, Wonderfalls and Angel were produced by 20th Century Fox (of which Fox 21 will be a branch). 20th Century Fox never rejected either show, and a show only needs one studio to produce it. So Fox 21 is not going to pick up either show, and if they did it wouldn't mean anything, since they would still need to find a network to air the show.
Well fair enough. But I thought some of you guys might be interested in this somewhat relevant link for the future of TV (via Caroline).

Thanks for the link, Simon. That *is* interesting, especially as I spend a lot of time in England.
