Fast National Ratings for the finale. According to Zap2it, 'Not Fade Away' got 3.3/5. This was an increase on last week's 2.7/4.

I'm still trying to find the overnights. They dont seem to be there at mediaweek and I can't get into The Futon Critic site.

Yeah I checked too, and it's not up anywhere yet. Lazy bastards all....
During the upfront period, MediaWeek hasn't been reporting the Overnights. According to Variety, however, "CBS, led by "King of Queens"... finished behind the WB on the night in 18-49. Frog was hopping with the series finale of "Angel" (2.8/7 in adults 18-49, 5.4 million viewers overall)." Last week, in the 18-49 demo, ANGEL got 2.2/5.

An interesting PDF chart in TVWeek I came across reveals something I'd not seen mentioned before -- for the week of May 3-9, ANGEL was The WB's top draw in audiences 18-49. Yowza.
Well, I'd hoped the viewership would top 5 million. Take that, WB! Sweet vindication for ME and the fans who believed in the show.

Now they're headed straight to the ratings basement, which in my world is equipped with a grudge-bearing torture demon and assorted racks of fun, extremely sophisticated implements. I'm thinking excruciatingly painful heart removal with a dull butter knife is a great way to start!

Oh, wait. They don't have one.
Wait, what list or table are we in? Because in the one where the past few eps were around 3.8 - 3.9, a 3.3 is not so good (No doubt thanks to the American Idol finale), but compared to the 2.7 table it is good.....argh I hate these systems!

Not that ratings matter much anymore but purely for pride's sake I suppose.
