No pickup for Marti Noxon and Charisma Carpenter pilots. Despite getting a positive buzz, their respective shows 'Point Pleasant' and 'Cats and Dogs' fail to appear on Fox and UPN's upcoming schedules.

Actually Point Pleasent might be considered for mid season, but there are no details:
There's even a pic of it in the Futon Critic Coverage, check it:

Well, that's two less reasons to turn on the TV next year. I'm more intrigued by the move of the only things that make Fox worth watching -- 24, Arrested Development and The O.C. It'll be nice to have something on Mondays to watch for once in the case of 24, but I hope The O.C. does alright in the Thursday time slot of doom.

But hey, at least it didn't get Fridays at 9, which is where I see UPN is moving Enterprise. That show must definitely be on it's last legs.
Huh? The only recent mention of "Point Pleasant" I can find on The Futon Critic is on the FOX pilot listings page, where it says "completed pilot was not given a series order by cbs at its upfront presentation
(5/20/04)."

I was pretty excited for that show, too.
I'm still sad that we never got to see Still Life. Poor Marti.
