Pre-order personalized autographed photos from Buffy and Angel stars. James Marsters, Amy Acker, Nicholas Brendon, and Sarah Hagan.

What the - ?

How are earth are we supposed to know whether these are authentic or not?

A Spike-signed figure for 60 bucks? That is so cheap as to make me suspicious. Just the plain ol' figures go for that and more on ebay.
No it's legit. I have one from James' last signing, it came with a certificate of authenticity.
Question: isn't the fun of getting autographs the fact that you get to meet the person in question?
A four word limit? I'd want to include 'antidisestablismentisim' just to get my money's worth. Same reason I never bought a life size cutout of SMG, she's only four foot something, yet they charge as much as a DB cutout! What a ripoff!
It's legit, but I do have a word of warning about the James Marsters one. I ordered a personalized JM one in August from them, and by March they still couldn't get JM to autograph it...I finally had to ask for my money back.
For whatever reason, James has been a rather difficult person for them to nail down (probably a bad choice of words but you get the idea) and get to sign photos for them, at least within the past year.

Before that though, they've done several signings with him (some of which were at their store) and it wasn't a problem.

As for limits on the personalization, it's not always up to the store but it may be up to the talent or their representation as well.
I know these are legit. Metro Entertainment is a Comic etc. shop in Santa Barbara Californina. They get lots of genre stars in there for signings and stuff. Joss himself shops there once in a while. I have a friend who works at the shop so I know it's on the level.
Yeah, forgot to address that. I've been to all of their "Buffy" and "Angel" signings thus far and can vouch for the authenticity of the autographs that they get as well.
