I couldn't be happier. Everyone has slipped right back in where we left off, but there is a difference. There is some kind of special magic in the ressurection. We all feel it. We are back in a way the series never could be. I have a glad heart when I watch Joss talking to the ship's crew. I can only look at him and smile. I smile a lot these days. More even than I thought I would.

Awww. I heart Nathan. What a sweetie! I'm so glad he's enjoying himself, and that everyone is having such a crackin' good time. A happy set usually results in a kickass movie. Anticipatory chill-bumps, anyone?

Anyone see the gag reel where they're all standing round a dead guy (missed the series here so don't know his name) listening to his recorded last message and Nathan runs round behind the camera so he's standing next to every other character. You have to see it to understand.

Sitting here touched (and grinning), too. I felt so cheated when Firefly was yanked like it was. I'm really glad we'll all get to find out what happens next with Serenity and crew - can't wait!

At a rough guess, Joss and Chris have been speaking to the cast about the official movie blog and it's probably stuck in Nathan's mind.

Have I entered some alternate reality. Doctor Who is coming back, the H2G2 film is in production and now so is a Firefly film. All I need now is a My So-Called Life reunion with Claire Danes in the middle and I'll know some really is up.

[Incidentally, since it looks like this is going to be on a discussion board are we to assume the posts are going to be linked here each time? That would be good ...]

everyone who i persuade to watch the firefly dvd's just shakes their head in amazement that the show got cancelled the way it did. and watching the special feature about the ship as a character, i could so feel their pain that they were never going to sit down at that table again. so happy for them to be reunited this way.

may it be the first of many happy reunions in the 'verse.
