Angel season five retrospective. Amy Berner looks back at ANGEL’s final season.

This looks vaguely familiar to me but I couldn't find it in the archives, so hopefully that's because it isn't there.

I disagree on her thoughts about Lindsey, it fit well that he had been playing everyone right from the start... he wanted to join the Circle of the Black Thorn to gain power (and perhaps he wanted to take out the Senior Partners, which would also explain his hatred towards Angel, he told he had sold out to them), that's all he's ever wanted
Also in regards to Lindsey, that wasn't the first time that he seemed to want to change for the good and then reverted back to his old ways. My thoughts on Lindsey is someone who maybe deep down wanted to be a good guy but didn't see himself that way or didn't have the strength of character to resist being pulled back to his dark side. Lindsey was an interesting character because he had so many levels. I was thrilled to see him come back this season, especially now because it was the last. I thought the storyline was plausible and fit in with his past behavior.
I agree. With Lindsey, it was always about having the power and being on top of everything. Much like it was for Lilah or any other lawyer from W&H for that matter.

It wasn't about right or wrong. It was always about the *power*. ;)
