Cut scene from 'Villains' revealed. According to effects artist Robert Hall, network executives took out a scene where a bullet was dug out of Buffy's chest.

That's interesting. Some people complained the hospital scene was very unrealistic ("low production values"). I'm guessing by the time they'd done this effect they'd no money left to reshoot the scene to make it look better.
At the risk of being a nitpicker, I wouldn't say this means a scene was cut from the show. We saw the scene where DarkWill took a slug out of Buffy. Maybe there was just a particularly bloody shot of DarkWill removing the slug, and that one shot ended up on the cutting room floor. One camera shot does not an entire scene make. Well, in this case anyway.
