Ebay auction-- Gum and Wad of Tissue from the set of Angel This is *probably not* a bonafide auction from Fox.....but they sure fooled me!

"This piece of gum was chewed by Spike in Season 5, Episode 2 on the television show "Angel." The tissue contains certified nasal material from Angel in the same episode. Bonus: the original gum wrapper!"

Ok - First - having issues with the link - reporting bad request.
Second - might I just say TMI and eewww.

Ha. That's even funnier than the auctioning of Spike's dust from "Time Bomb".

I'm holding out for the jar of Illyria-laden air captured from Amy Acker's wake as she left the make-up trailer to start the final day of shooting.
Spike was chewing gum? I thought he was immaterial in that episode.
haha, fantastic point Cabus.
Oh. My. God.

Someone needs to follow up and see how much is paid for this and if the person defaults.
Just to make a correction and to point out to anyone that didn't notice the URL, it's not a real auction! Just someone making a joke about Fox's prop auctioning.

Not, uh, that I tried to bid or anything. :D

lol.thats funny.they sell really cheap stuff, nd ppl buy it for lots of cash.just becuz it was used by an actor.
what is the person who gets it gonna do with it?is he/her gonna chew it?lol.
Yeah, I see now that if you click on 'bids' it shows bidding for the Scroll they were selling. What's up with this? It *seems* authentic. I'll amend the description.
So it's a joke. Damn that sure was convincing, hehe. Good stuff. And really, I wasn't even THAT surprised when I thought it was real. How far removed is it from the real auction of Angel's toilet role holder?
Yeah it was convincing because...have you seen some of the things being auctioned off on ebay?

There actually was a wad of gum sold on e-bay last year. I think it went for $1000. It was supposedly chewed by Luis Gonzalez a baseball player for the Arizona Diamondbac.

Hmmm... I think I know who did this!

Famed? Is she big in the Buffyverse or something? Not familiar with the name.

I'm shocked...and hurt. Apparently I have to try harder.

Hmm doesn't ring a bell......you know her personally then?;-)
A comment from the possibly "guilty party" and yet she doesn't deny it. I think we've found our culprit! ;)

Sorry, I'm not up on all the forums and stuff. And I checked out that article. Funny stuff. I wasn't actually into the 'verse until last year, though, so I missed that one.
Doesn't anybody look at URLs when they're on the web?
This is just too freaking hilarious.
It is the best piss take I've seen in ages.

Did you ever see this one?

Taramisu, I read the Wesley one. I didn't realize it was a joke. Wesley's a sociopath? Heh. Yeah, I can be gullible.
Thanks for the links... It wouldn't surprise me if something gross wasn't auctioned on ebay. Did you see how much James Marsters got for his old sofa? I bet it was more than he paid for it!

I loved the 'thesis' it is so cleverly put together. I never saw the Wesley one. A link perhaps? Please...

Nope. Sorry. Probably very funny, but I don't think my reading ADD could handle it! Maybe I'll just read the abstract! : )

Uh...let me go check my numerous folders of Buffyverse bookmarks...Ugh, I'm sorry. I can't find it and probably didn't bookmark it. I remember sending a link of it to a friend.

I'll see if I can find her or someone else who has it.
Oh, but I did just come across the link to Buffy's Season 2 diary from that Spike Thesis page. I think this is a hilarous parody, and this part really made me laugh.

Becoming Part 2:
I don’t know what S was talking about when he said all that stuff. Didn’t even know what most of it meant except the happy meals with legs. That is just so gross.

Heh.
This is funy stuff, but is there a main page? channelingboards.com by itself tells me I don't have permission. Me not have permission! Whoever heard of such a thing!
EdDantes,

Whats My Line Part 2:
I still don’t understand it. S with that freaky Dru chick? Doesn’t seem to make sense. When I got a hold of her she didn’t even struggle. I was practically holding her up cuz she was so weak. Seems very strange her with S. He’s so strong and stuff. He must have to take care of her. I mean he must really love her only he doesn’t have a soul so he can’t. I should ask G. Can vamps get married? I should ask A. Or not cuz he’d probably think I meant him. Not that that would be a bad thing. Mrs. I don’t even know his last name. Do vamps have a last name? Have to check into that.

Oh my god, I just can't stop laughing. Sorry. I'll stop now.
I think the funniest thing has to be is that www.buffy.nu seem to think this is a real auction.

Seriously? I'm trying not to laugh, really I am...::veg::

Ah what am I saying, I fell for it at as well when I followed Taramisus link at BAPS. Brilliant work, as always.
Taramisu, I read the Wesley one. I didn't realize it was a joke. Wesley's a sociopath?

Never heard of it. Can't find it on Google. If anyone finds it, let me know.

Wednesday's Child is the main page.

I don't see anyting about the auction on that website. Am I blind?
They've since removed the link.
