I'm loving these detailed peeks into the ME creative process we've been getting lately. It adds a whole new level of enjoyment to watching the shows.

This is the second time I've heard ME mention very explicitly that Buffy is a metaphor while Angel is a melodrama. Which is perhaps why I enjoy Buffy a little more (even though I watch all ME shows assiduously). Angel has great dramatic moments, but I can't always relate to them. Now it all makes perfect sense! :-)

I understand Marti Noxon's commentary on Buffy season 6 from the same SFX publication is also very interesting, but so far I've seen only a partial transcript, marred by biased parenthetical comments by the transcriber.

Can anyone help?
