(SPOILER) Serenity trailer finds its way on to the net. Kinda grainy, but considering it's all we have, I say SHINY!

Wow... Moove-ee... look... good... :|

Wow!! Even with the terrible quality I still felt a surge in my soul. There is no way I am going to survive seeing this movie in the theater. My brain is going to explode.
I just watched it and the last line by River sent chills through my entire body. Only 250 days to go!!!!!!!!!
Thread with download links located here

Shiny!
Cool, thanks wren!

And MindPieces, I KNOW! Man, I just hope there's enough browncoats in this small town 250 days from now. I want to see it with other fans!
hmmm, is there a way to bash your head a specific way so I'll slip into a coma till april 22nd, because I'm not sure I can wait that long. I must see this movie April 22nd, expense of getting to the US be damned.

The quality's bloody terrible, but it's a hell of a lot better than nothing and enough to get me even more excited about this movie than I already am. Not sure why Universal aren't releasing the footage, it's one hell of a trailer.
Ghost Spike, someone on the other board mentioned that it didn't looked color-matched. So maybe they're waiting until something more polished is done?
All the links on the thread aren't working anymore. Can anyone here share it or point me to a link that works?
"Not sure why Universal aren't releasing the footage, it's one hell of a trailer."

The trailer was supposed to be a special thing exclusive to SD Comiccon only, so maybe they want to keep it special.

It looks to be a really exciting movie, though it's hard to figure out what's actually going on in the trailer. But I saw sex and violence!
Damn. Saw it twice at Comic Con and I still got excited while watching it. God I love all things Firefly. Let's hope I can make it until April.
My birthday is April 22 perfect birthday present!!!
DAMNIT! DAMNIT! DAMNIT! I can't see it! This is torture! I'm just gonna go hide under the covers 'til the movie comes out...
So someone did manage to film it at the Comicon? I mean I thought they weren't putting this out? Also, it's only 800 bytes and won't play.
Only 800 bytes? Do you have Bit-torrent, you can get a good version here, if you install that, or any version of bit-torrent, clicking on the link in the "serenity teaser" post should start up your download.

You may need the DivX codec, which can be found at www.divx.com

This is in reply to EdDantes post, dont know why its shifted it up all the way to the top of the page.
Okay I'm downloading....didn't see the BitTorrent part. I gots it, I gots it....

Seriously though, Fireflyfans.net gets visited by the cast and stuff, I'm kinda surprised they would show this thing. At the con they specifically asked not to film it and that it would not be released on the web. I'm assuming they 'got' it at the Wizard Con since it's after that one that it's suddenly leaked out....
Joss also showed the trailer at Wizard World, so that's where this clip came from. I guess there wasn't any enforced no-video rule there.
Is kind of surprising they'd show it, kind of surprised we're showing it here when the knowledge that the almighty Joss visits this site from time-to-time is still fresh in everyones minds. Ah well, maybe he'll just be happy that something that he's created is bringing so much joy.
All I'll say is that neither Joss nor anybody at the Con said anything about not filming the teaser. Before the panel started, a Con guy had said that Joss will allow flash photography and video recording.

The video is from Wizard World, the audio is spliced from one of the San Diego recordings.

Well guess they won't mind then. And really you can barely tell what's going on. I still feel kinda exclusive, having seen the real thing, hehe.

Huh? So we're seeing WizardWorld, but we're hearing Comicon? Well I guess that's my cheers in there too then. Funny.
My camera records (crappy) video, but doesn't record sound at all.

Ahaaa so you are zee culprit...;-)
Yes KernelM, thanks for doing this for us "just can't waits." I liked your photos too, especially the one with both you and Joss leaning over the table and looking at the camera. Too cute, and my envy bone flared up big time!

I probably would have turned beet red and babbled something about naming my daughter Willow. Or worse yet, been barely able to speak in his presence and just squeak out "Fire bad, tree pretty..."
Oh, now I wish I didn't watch that teaser! Just 250 days, eh? Well, AtS season 4 and BtVS season 7 DVDs are due out soon. If I ration wisely, I might just make it.
Actually, the con "guy" (actually a woman) very specifically forbade anyone from video recording.
Maybe for other panels, but not the Joss Q&A on Saturday. I distinctly remember what the guy (it was a man) said before the panel started. It's not like I was being incredibly furtive with my camera.
Thanks Kernel. Preciate it and loved the teaser. Can't wait for April.
In case anyone is wondering why there is no direct link it's cause I have removed it.

Remember the following:

"Please do not link to illegal downloads of copyrighted material."

But I will say this, hopefully the leaking of the trailer onto the net will pressure Universal into releasing a trailer soon.
Hey! I didn't link to anything illegal! I linked it to FFF.net!

Party poopers.
