Tru Calling comes to DVD (R1) in November. The much loathed (in some quarters) Eliza Dushku show is slated to be released on DVD on November 30th.

I can't wait for this. Maybe I'll enjoy it alot more if I watch ALL of the episodes at once.
I won't be buying these DVDs because I'm not into the show that much, however, I like that Eliza did commentary for 4 episodes. I may have to borrow it from the library just for that.
I am pretty sure I wil buy it, I thought a good chunk of the season was pretty good
How divided can one person be!! haha!! On the one hand, like many, I LOVE ELIZA!! The other side of me is trying so hard to even LIKE this show. I just dont know if my love for Eliza is reason enough to buy the DVD. What do others think?
Love Eliza too, and she's pretty much the only reason I watch the show. Think it's very mediocre on all other fronts. I don't think I'll be buying the DVD set. Just too much money for a show I basically don't care that much about.

Would love to hear the Eliza comments though....
For those on the fence about Tru Calling DVDs--save your money if you're planning on buying the rest of Buffy and Angel on DVD. Put the money towards the Firefly DVDs if you haven't bought those. Maybe try out a new series on DVD that you've heard lotsa good things about but have either missed on network TV or can't see 'cause you don't subscribe to pay-cable (you can always sell it again on eBay for reasonable bids. Personally I always advocate renting or borrowing from the library, even though I have trouble finding a lot of shows that way). Or maybe even take some of that cash you potentially could've spent on Tru Calling and try out HBO, Showtime, FX, etc for a month or so.

And that's just assuming it has to go towards television. You could see Serenity four or five times instead!
I will be buying this. I don't think the show's that bad. Besides, the bonus stuff looks great.
I tried to watch "Tru Calling" as it aired the first season, but I quickly lost interest. May rent this set and give it another viewing. I do have high hopes that Jane Espenson will add much to their writing staff this upcoming season.
No, I won't be buying this. Eliza is brilliant throughout the season, and the finale is fantastic, but I can't waste money just because of this. I don't like the series that much, but I'm sure it has its own fanbase that really enjoys it. Not for me though

On better news, yesterday I ordered 'Firefly' off Amazon! Go me!
Trust me Apocalypse, you will enjoy 'Firefly' watching it as Joss meant for it to be viewed. I couldn't make any sense with the series as aired on FOX, but watching the DVDs was the difference in night and day. Did you notice on the Amazon site that there are over 1000 customer reviews on 'Firefly', almost everyone giving it a top 5 star rating. They all pretty much say the same thing we already know. (1) Joss is brilliant. (2) Firefly is a wonderful show. (3) The FOX network must be "off their rocker" for cancelling it.
I hope this set will be available for rent. I simply must hear those commentaries and how Jon Harmon Feldman will try to explain away why the show is so bad, but I'm not paying $60 for it.
Everybody should save their money and buy the Wonderfalls DVDs instead.
