Discovering the Whedonverse (both the people who make it and the fans I've met because of it) has influenced my perception of age entirely in a really positive way. Makes aging more a desired accumulation of knowledge and experience than something to be feared. Granted, this is coming from someone who could probably be your daughter's age.

In addition, I was watching some show about Johnny Depp this morning who is right around James' age and has very nicely defined cheekbones. Then, I was thinking, if someone gave James a shot in Hollywood, I could easily see him taking on similar roles to JD.

I know exactly how you feel! I actually learned that when I became a fan of Neve Campbell, though (she was 25 and I thought that was wierd. I was an idiot. A 13-14 yearold idiot.). However, it was the 'verse that really did it. I mean, everyone David Boreanaz's age and up could have parented me (then again, 10 yearolds have made children), but hearing them speak and seeing them act just made me not care anymore. People are people.

Sadly, yep. I'm 20, so if anyone's got the secret to eternal youth, now's the time to tell me.

Lol, I have a wide range of tastes with no specific required characteristic, but a standout bonus is the level of maturity most men over their 40s have. Me, I got lucky, he's 24 but acts on average in his late 30s, and I mean that in a nice way.

I'd still trade him for James, though. Kidding...sort of.

Well Faith I can tell you that I too am kinda shallow in the "way I look" department. And I just hit 43. The laugh lines kind of pinch a bit, but you feel so much more well rounded as a person (not to denigrate who you are right now in any way! Its the experiences in our 20's that shape who we are as older adults and our really only chance to be totally into ourself and our friends, before we begin creating our own family with partner and kids!), it makes up for it. I proudly celebrate each birthday because I have earned them!

He's certainly aging well. My young niece has a huge crush on James. When I'd mentioned to her that James was in his early 40's, her jaw nearly fell on the floor. "No way!!" I just turned 41 recently, but unlike James, I actually look it. Happy Birthday James!

So am i the only one on here that doesn't think Kim Cattrall is all that attractive? In fact i don't really think any of the core four characters from that show are all that good looking to be honest.

I don't know, maybe it's just my personal taste in women but i wouldn't go out of my way to talk to any of them if i saw them in a club. Not one of them looks in any way sexy to me.

Now Amy Lee, she is sexy, her i would go talk to, lol.
