The 2004 Golden Fang Winners. See who won what for Angel season 5 at The Succubus Club.

Though my favourite fight was Angel and Lindsay in 'You're Welcome'.

Nah, gotta go with them on Destiny. I liked You're Welcome, but the whole thing required me to believe that Lindsey wasn't an OOC plot device.

"Yeah, I know I was givin' you advice last time, but that Cops Suck sign pissed me off so much that I went and picked me up some mystic super-strength, corporeality in a box, the magick runes of hiding, and this nifty little expando-sword. And then I decided I really wanted to kill you and join a Circle that plays the game I was trying so hard to get away from."

Not that I'm bitter.
I agree with everything except Best Actor. As much I love and adore James Marsters, I did not think his acting was the best in season 5. He was basically just there for comic relief. I think Alexis Denisof should have gotten the award.
Alexis, no question. James had his moments (notably in the hospital bed, hands just recently re-attached, philosophizing with Angel), but Alexis was phenomenal. Reading to Fred, dying in her/Illyria's arms, reacting to his "father"...he was simply amazing. What a performance.

And Simon, I'm with you on the best fight..."I'm Angel...I beat the bad guys."

Either that or "It's time we kick your ass back to hell" in Smile Time!
oh fortunateizzi I disagree with you on so many levels.. yep comic relief James was fun but there was so much more stuff in there too . However James didn't get to display his acting skills on Ats as much as he did on Buffy and Alexis was great so I'd go for a joint win if that was allowed
I loved the Angel/Lindsay fight also. Kane played the hell out of that scene. That look in his eyes was insane. It was a good fight but you know, I really think the Angel/Spike fight was more powerful because of the emotion and the information you're learning about their relationship during the fight.

But I can see why you'd pick the Lindsy/Angel one. Hard to choose.

Oh, and I'm all over the James winning best actor. No offense to JM and Spike fans but he only won because he's got a huge fan base. He didn't win because he was best actor, he won because more people like the actor.

Alexis deserves the title of best actor of Angel season 5 hands down. That man is so underrated. He deserved a pile of emmys.

And Amy too. Man. I'm glad she won. She was incredible and completely surprised everyone. Although I never doubted her talent for a second.

Alexis definetly deserves some credit he's blown us away with great performances week after week. I personally liked the Angel, Wes, and Spike VS Illyria in Shells.
JM is my boy, but Wesley deserves best actor. Best fight? I don't know what episode because I don't have them on tape, but when Spike just punches the guy directly in the throat. Perfect timing, perfect energy.
Yep, AD deserves the nod for the acting. JM was not well served by some of the scripts in s5, and he seemed to lose his way (and his accent) a little. But AD just nailed it in every scene. Such subtle changes in expression that said volumes!

And worst hair? :claws out: Think I would have to go with CK. Love the voice, and too bad he didn't get a better story arc -- he deserved more. But the hair!! Worse than the Buffy wig. :claws retracted:
I liked CK's hair. But then, I've always liked guys with scruffy hair. And speaking of hair, my favorite Wesley hair is the longish do in the beginning of season 3, which most of my friends hate with a passion. But that was the best hair ever. It was so retro. I have a weakness for retro hair.

I do agree CK could have used a hair cut though. I didn't mind, however.
I have to disagree with everyone: I think JAR should have got it. Seriously, I like Alexis's acting fine, James is my fav and did what he could with what he got, but JAR really nailed it I think.

And whoo-hoo Angel/Cordy kiss. Yay!

I'll have to join the Alex camp here for best actor AtS 4&5. Not to take anything away from James, he's good. But I think Alex has much more depth in his acting skills.
