And I'm still recovering from the revamp of the Sky One logo. It's awful. Looks like Sky Onc.

But its their acting thats mostly important and I don't think Jemima Rooper is that bad. The rest are pretty much unknown's.
Unfortunately I don't have Sky, but if I did I would have put an hour aside to watch it. If I'd liked it, I would have continued watching it. But.....sob....i'll never know!

The majority of the students belong to "The Crowd", except two clear outsiders: Cassie and her best friend Thelma. Thelma is an outsider for a very clear reason: she is a lesbian with a crush on Cassie, however the reasons behind Cassie's exclusion are vague - somehow she is just different. Despite this, Cassie longs to be part of The Crowd, especially to be close to one person - Troy.

Me, personally, I'm waiting for a British version of Harry Potter.

Ouch, a HP series? I dunno about that one... still, probably better than Hex. But not much... yuck, a "typical teen drama"? That's what HP ISN'T. It's like saying Buffy is a typical teen drama.
"J.K. Rowling's books are extremely British," said Levin. "America's a much more diverse place than Britain, and we really needed to introduce a more urban element to the very provincial original."
Will the spells be latin raps?
Bah
EDIT: LOL at the spoof, shows me to read whedonesque while at work and dodging the man.

Still think that Sky would have been better off sharing the funding of an actual new slayer show with either UPN or the WB rather than attempting this copycat version. Surely whatever Hex costs to make would have gone at least half way towards the cost of a new show set in the slayerverse.
Ah well, that didn't happen so i'll give this a chance to see if it is any good at all. You never know, i guess.

WB soaps are "filled with ludicrously attractive twentysomethings pretending to be teenagers and sleeping around at the drop of a hat. The very concept of "Hogwarts 90210" makes me want to retch." It's a wonderful statement, but I can't imagine most real critics putting it in print.
And then this: "We think that Tom has already shown the brooding intensity you need to play Harry," countered Levin. "I mean, he's already got the dark hair. A pair of glasses and a little scar, and it'll be like Harry walked out of the book" is obviously too good to be true.
Although Alyssa Milano as Hermione. Umm, just went to a bad place.
