Kristen from E!Online interviews Charisma about her new role in Charmed and also her series "Cats and Dogs". When asked if she'd like to return, Charisma replies with a heinous answer...."I'd be more than happy to have some giggles with the girls and go back."

Sorry not a big fan of Charmed. Except Holly Marie Combs who I find so much more attractive than Alyssa Milano

I wish much success for Charisma but what on earth were execs thinking for her sitcom, "Cats and Dogs?" It has the lamest premise I have ever heard:

"The half-hour comedy would feature Charisma as an uptight lawyer who has an obsession with animals, scaring potential boyfriends away. 'She can't keep a man, or she's so distracted with her outside interests with the dogs that people run from her, because they think she's weird because she's a fanatic for dogs.'"

I love dogs, too, but......this is a series?
But, if they do it in a funny way...
Hi, I'm Troy McClure. You might remember me from such sitcoms as "Cats and Dogs" and "Commando Nanny".

You couldn't make it up, you really couldn't.
Really? I know more than one animal rescue activist for whom that premise is a reality. Kind of weird for a sitcom maybe but what the hell was "Seinfeld" or "Friends" about? It's in all in the writing and delivery anyway. Not that I have a lot of hope for a sitcom on UPN but I'm just saying if the writing and acting are good, then the premise doesn't really matter...
Seinfeld and Friends didn't have outrageousley stupid sitcom-land concepts and that's probably something that helped them be successful too.

As for Charisma, I find it funny how she wouldn't even consider returning to the Buffyverse (which I'll believe when I see it) but Charmed, (with the outfit) oh sure she'd love to. Hey happy she has work but the underlying tone of....ah never mind. It's early and I have to go to the dentist so I'm in quite a foul mood.

Simon, that is SO funny, and you're absolutely right! LOL. Let's hope the whedonverse alums don't all end up as "Troys" or Charmed guest stars either, for that matter.

mmmmmm....donuts...

I hope at least part of her 'tude is the whole "They got rid of me so I'd better act like I don't care rather than let people see how crushed I am" thing. The last thing you want to do in Hollywood is let people think of you as a failure, far better to pretend you have plenty of irons in the fire and other projects on the go, even if it does mean dissing the best role you've ever had and that thousands of other actresses would have killed to have gotten.

(My fav Troy McClure line: "I asked you which popular Simpsons character was written out in the last season. If you said Dr Marvin Monroe you'd be wrong. He was never popular...")
she's very ummmm.... annoyingly gushing.
And what was that answer regarding the Angel movie? "Nuh-huh." The first part of that answer is a negative, while the second part was an affirmative, like in uh-huh. So ummmm, which is it there, Charisma?

Maybe she deliberately answered that way.

I can understand her feeling removed from that world now, but its still very sad to hear.
It's just unfortunate that whatever happened between CC and ME has caused this degree of estrangement from what will probably be the most significant stretch of work she'll ever have as an actress. I enjoyed her as Cordelia, but I admit she was never my favorite actor or character on the series. If a stint on Charmed is good enough for her (until something better, hopefully, comes along), then well done. It'll keep the lights on and such, but it won't be anything that will stand the test of time.

I think she'll be always be best known by Whedonversers, and it's kind of a bummer that she doesn't really seem to acknowledge that the adulation of those fans is one of the reasons she was likely offered the role on Charmed in the first place. I suppose I wish she would display at least a flicker of fondness or nostalgia for her time on AtS; it couldn't have all been bad, and it was certainly the best caliber of material she's ever been given in her career. I wish whatever it was that went down, hadn't. I wish she felt good about Angel so I could feel really good about what she's done since moving on, but so far I can't. Not that it matters...
