A Wish List for the TV Powers that Be. This list from azcentral.com lists the people they are glad to see back, the people they want to go away and the people they want to see back. Which two Buffyverse stars are featured in the list? (One is an honourable mention).

I'm quite suprised with ASH, not because he's not good, but because he hasn't really been in the limelight over the last year

Well it's cool to see both mentioned. Although I'm not sure James would be thrilled with the 'shirt come off' remarks. Think he's kinda tired of that. Still always nice to see Buffy folk make these lists.

On the down side, the same list actually has Joan Rivers as 'wanted back'. Which just kinda knocks the whole thing down a couple of notches. I don't want her back, I want her off the face of the earth. Put her in the other list with Paris Hilton or something. Ptui. Let's speak of them NO more...
I was thrilled when I saw ASH as honorable mention, then when I scrolled down and saw Joan Rivers name...well, it quite ruined the entire thing!
EdDantes and ladyforash - did ya have to bring of Joan Rivers? Geez. I stopped reading at the JM and ASH mention and was blissfully ignorant... :)

Ick.
James at the top of the "want back" list - that makes me all warm and happy inside - don't need to read anymore...I am in my happy place...:)
Now we'll see if he can actually get back - I was checking out the ratings and even though J&B still suck - they are actually getting worse numbers than Tarzan was, but the Mountain is doing worse than both of them. J&B and the Mt are the 2 lowest rated shows currently on the WB. If the Mt. goes before Nov I think we will see GF (Englunds new show in it's place)- either that or a reality show. Since the pilot was already filmed. Then we will once again have to wait to see Marsters on the small screen.

The laugh of superiority is about to start .....

Last Wed from TFC;
"Smallville" (households: 3.2/5, #15; adults 18-49: 2.2, #13) and "The Mountain" (households: 1.6/2, #17; adults 18-49: 1.0, #17)

The Year beforefrom TFC;
"Smallville" (households: 4.2/7; adults 18-49: 2.9) and "Angel" (households: 3.7/6; adults 18-49: 2.7)

Heck even this time last season UPN's Jake 2.0 had better numbers andwe know that show didn't last much longer. "Jake 2.0" (households: 1.8/2; adults 18-49: 1.1)

The laugh of superiority has now end and we are sent back to regularly scheduled programming.

I agree and wish ASH would come over and do more in the states but I have BBCA and get to see him there on occassion so I'm contented. I also have to say who in the heck want's Joan back - I think she voted for herself or paid someone to vote for her. :)
Then we will once again have to wait to see Marsters on the small screen.

My question is a little OT, and refers more to a thread that, unfortunately, I didn't get to see until it was archived -- but, for you in the know, if an actor films an episode that never gets aired, can he/she still claim it on a resume? That is, does it still potentially help the actor get future work?
I don't know for sure, but I think he can still use the tape of his performance to send to casting directors. For example, actors in independent films that never get seen can still use those films in their credits and use it to get future parts. So I would think the same is true for television.

BTW, I love that James Marsters and Anthony Stewart Head were mentioned. I want them back too!
