Charisma Carpenter to play on LAX. According to the TV Gal, Charisma Carpenter will be playing Heather Locklear's little sis on LAX.

This is terrific news...I am extremely pleased to hear that CC is doing so well...I was a little miffed at Joss and ME over the "circumstances" by which CC was let go on Angel but she certainly has made the most of here time since then...Now only if we could get Nicky some work eh?
This is good. Hopefully Charisma's profile is expanding with each show she does. I'm really pleased for her! Even though i've never seen the show, if it is good, i hope she gets a recurring role in it. Guess there's no more Charmed then :.)
Having flown in LAX, I have no idea why anyone would want to make a show about it. One of the worst organised airports I have been in. SFO on the other hand, now that's a great airport.
Charmed? LAX? Why is CC getting in the tv series that I've already written off? Why can't she make an appearance on CSI or Lost? Okay. Maybe Lost would be a stretch. Next thing you know she'll move in to the Desperate Housewives neighborhood. Ick.
If anyone is interested, Media Sharx is reporting that Charisma will be on 'LAX' episode airing on Nov. 10, 2004. And no, I won't be watching. I'm happy for CC, but this show doesn't tickle my fancy.
Next thing you know she'll move in to the Desperate Housewives neighborhood.

Charisma Carpenter would be extremely lucky to get a role on the number one new show of the season.
Yep, she'd fit right in on that series (Desperate Housewives, not LAX. Yick). And damn it, it doesn't deserve to be lumped in with every other trashy primetime rich people drama. It's funny, more than a little subversive, well written, and well acted. I'm four episodes in and I'm hooked for the season, if not the series. I know, I'm one of the members here who's pretty vocal about defending The OC, but that's a guilty pleasure for the most part, Desperate Housewives isn't. I could see Charisma playing the trophy wife, Gabrielle. The two actors remind me of eachother a bit.
I agree with you Kris. People shouldn't write off shows like Desperate Housewives and The OC without checking out a few episodes. They're two of the funniest, most well written dramas on the air today, and neither is a guilty pleasure in my mind.

I'll probably check out an episode of LAX for Charisma. I refused to watch her on Charmed, and this has to be a step in a better direction.
Also a big fan of Desperate Housewives and yes, Charisma would be extremely lucky to land a part on that. I think she would've been great in the Nicollette Sheridan role.
I almost didn’t give Desperate Houswives a chance because of the way it was promoted, but I agree it is well written. I could definitely see Charisma on it, but in the role of Susan (now played by Teri Hatcher). She certainly has the figure for the other two roles, but I would love to see her as slightly exasperated and unsure of herself but doing the physical comedy as well as being the least heightened character. She and Emma Caulfield always reminded me of the screwball comedy actresses of the 30’s and 40’s and I think it would be great if Charisma got to be funny again.
I've only been hearing good things about 'Desperate Housewives' (haven't been able to watch it, our network hasn't been able to secure the rights to air the show here). Didn't realize it was being grouped with subpar shows such as 'Lax'.
It hasn't been grouped with Lax, for the most part. Any media type or TV junkie who does so is pretty uninformed anyway since they're from very different sub-genres of drama. A lot of people see promotions for a drama with rich hot people and automatically think "drek". Just isn't the case all the time. Gotta take a closer look to be sure. I'm glad I was curious enough to give Dangerous Housewives a fighting chance.
