"Straight-Jacket" Trailers finally available for film with Jack Plotnick and Tom Lenk.
Basically a satire on closeted gay stars of the 1950's like Rock Hudson.

Added: IMDB says this film will come out in "limited release" on November 26th in the U.S. I don't know how many cities that means.
(If you don't know, Jack Plotnick played assistant mayor Alan Finch on BtVS.)
The main site is a Flash site (http://www.straight-jacket.com/), so I had to dig for the movie trailer URLs a bit. Here they are:
Quicktime 700K
Quicktime 300K
Real Player 240K
Windows Media 300K
Of course, the entire site is amusing, so if you can stand using Flash, then you should check out the whole site. (Actually, I found this movie more than interesting enough to overcome my distaste for Flash.)
Never mind the above paragraph. There is a non-flash equivalent: http://www.straightjacket-themovie.com/.
Straight-Jacket on IMDB.
Also, just a warning -- when you click on the "Gallery" link on these sites, some music plays automatically -- very embarrassing or annoying if you aren't wearing headphones at work! I found out the hard way.

Chickenbird: I can't employ Flash at work. Can you provide a brief synopsis of what this film is about? It's the first I've heard of it . . .
(Added) Well, I read the IMDB review and it sounds like a lot of fun. But it doesn't appear that Tom Lenk has much of a part, at least from his lowly position in the cast list. Jack Plotnick is a bit higher up.

Yes, he often is, in all the films by this group of film makers/actors (Charles Busch, Richard Day, Clinton Leupp et al). See e.g. "Girls Will Be Girls", which stars Jack. In fact, Jack has quite a flourishing career as a character actor, in addition to these roles that he does with this group of (what must be) very good friends.
I get the feeling that Jack was the one who recommended Tom for the part in this film.
(Added: Jack is also well known for his role on "Ellen" in the 1990s, as Barrett, the boyfriend of Ellen's best friend Peter.)

Anywhoo... I saw the film at the Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF) in May. Tom Lenk's part is quite small. But fans might want to check it out.
The film itself does have that 50's Rock and Doris look and feel - the technicolor, stock exterior footage and the design. For those of you who saw "Down With Love", or are fans of Doris Day movies, kind of like that.
There is definitely a dash of Douglas Sirk and Michael Gordon, with some Charles Busch for good measure. I had fun.

I hope Jack's role is good.
