Original Elektra Score Coming January 11. "The music is composed by Christophe Beck, whose approach to the score was to experiment with unusual sounds and textures."

I love Christophe Beck's music.Close Your Eyes was awesome! I bet this will be a great CD.

I liked Christophe Beck's scores, think overall I preferred Robert Duncan's though. Both deserve CDs though, maybe if the Angel CD sells well (when they finally get around to releasing it) they'll consider Buffy scores.

Was looking forward to this movie, but the trailer looks like it could be terrible, and I don't know if it still has a trailer for Serenity before it.

Of course there's still the obvious draw of Jennifer Garner.

Just about every movie Christophe Beck has scored has been terrible, but I hope that this breaks the streak. I'll definitely be there opening weekend to support Jennifer Garner though.

Also, it's kind of funny how he's followed some of the Buffyverse stars around. Christian Kane was in 'Taxi' and 'Just Married', Seth Green was in 'Without A Paddle', Eliza and Clare were in 'Bring It On', Michelle is in 'Ice Princess'. Coincidence?

I managed to get ahold of some unauthorized CDs of Beck's score for BtVS Seasons 2 and 3 ... really great stuff. It's amazing how well they set the mood. If I listen to them, I can almost see the original scenes in which they appeared. His work (and Duncan's) deserve some kind of official release.

As a side note, I would love to BE Jennifer Garner's support. Shape of ... wonderbra. Seriously, though, I've been using Alias as a substitute for the whole girl/action thing I've been missing since Buffy. :(
I`m with you.
Beck and Duncanīs work deserves a special edition.
I love their partitures, specially Close Your Eyes, and the Final Fight.
